Skill books post-BB

Greetings.

Just wondering, what has become of skillbooks after the Big Bang patch? Because some skills got removed altogether, there are a few new skills, etc. How was it handled with the SP reset handed out?

The skills that were removed were all replaced with an equivalent. For example, Brandish is now Brave Slash. There are skillbooks for the new skills.

Makes sense. How about drops? ._.

Pap/zakum no longer drop mastery books (zakum still drops skillbooks), and we don't know about pianus yet because it's always dead, and horntail/other bosses are out of our league currently.
Skillbooks drop from practically every monster over 100 now.
Skill quests don't exist anymore, you get all of your skills at 4th job advancement except for TT/adv combo/adv charge/everything from zakum.

That's unbelievably depressing. Some of the best storylines I've ever experienced in-game were from those quests.

What about Holy charge?
If you passed the 20, and your version was the removed, would they pass the mastery level to the "merged" version?
Would the mastery level be passed, or will Paladins need to hunt the new mastery book?

No skill quests....what....that is horrible >__>

So I guess if you had a Brandish Book in your invent, it'd transform into a Brave Slash Book.

Um, no. I am talking about the quests themselves. Like what the NPC's say during the quests and etc.

...huh? Holy Charge's max level is still 20.

Edit: Oh, I guess they did remove Divine Charge. I'm pretty sure the Sword version of the book is the only one that matters now, then. Don't quote me on that; I don't know the specifics.

They just removed those completely? O.o
