What to do with $50...
#1
So, my mom gave me a $50 Visa gift card for my birthday, which was on August 1st. This card expires on the 13th (which is tomorrow >_>). After 13 days of trying to figure out what to spend it on, I can't figure anything out... I have one day to spend it or $50 goes bye bye.

I was thinking of buying Wii points with it from the Wii Shop channel, but my dad has the router set up differently than what the Wii requires, so... :S

L> Options XD

(no porn)

Also, it's domestic use only... Otherwise, I would have already spent it on money for foreign games or something.

I would, but domestic-made ones suck ass, which means I would have to import a good one, which means I can't buy it with the card. :S

There are already imported books at bookstores. Have you ever even checked?

If not, buy a Zelda figurine :3

Yeah, but most book stores I've checked don't have very good selections for Japanese stuff. -is very picky about what he uses to learn Japanese with, due to a history of being stuck with sh'itty stuff-

Anyway... I figured a way around my dad changing the router, so I bought 5k Wii Points.

This thread is now about what video games I should buy with my Wii Points. :3

Majora's Mask is one that's on the top of my mind right now, since I've lost my Nintendo 64 copy. Sad

That's odd, never heard of a Visa Giftcard that expires that quickly. She must have gotten it a while ago and just decided to give it to you. And good thing you got the card to work on your Wii, usually those gift cards never work on anything.

If you plan on spending it all on the Virtual Console, I'm sure you already know which games to get. Or you could also go to the store and get another Wiimote or a Classic Controller. I really like my Classic Controller, but GameCube controllers are just as good. I only have one cause my friend gave it to me after he forgot to sell it back with the rest of his Wii things.

But for actual games:
Pokemon Rumble
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (Or whatever it's called)
Metal Slug
Defend Your Castle(Mostly for multiplayer)
Super Mario RPG
Almost anything from N64

You could also just save the Wii points, since I'm sure they don't expire in two weeks. Sonic 4 comes out this fall Big Grin

I have a selection of a lot of classic games like The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II : Adventures of Link, The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past, The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda : Majora's Mask, Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden II, Ninja Gaiden III, Sonic the Hedghog 1 ~ 3, the original Super Mario games, as well as imported stuff (Japanese games) like the Super Mario Lost Levels. lol

If I get The Legend of Zelda (original), Majora's Mask, and Cave Story, that leaves me with 2,300 Wii Points left.

Meh. I'm going to download Majora's Mask and save the other 4k points for something else later. I can't decide on what else to get. XD Too much nostalgia flooding me in this shop channel.
