[ThaiMS] Ver. 0.84 - The Visitor
Slip Wrote:They didn't even have to translate it actually. ThaiMS is in English.

They most likely did create the permanent equips though, which is indeed an effort. Also, if they didn't make this, we have even more reason to believe that they're preparing for something else right now.

really? the website you linked to was in thai so i assumed it wasn't translated. my bad. doesn't change anything still.

I don't really care. The poor game is strained with gamebreaking stuff as it is. This tespia is bringing in stupidly high slotted items that will probably be very able to be gotten.

If these equips are as easy as you assume they will be to acquire, what's stopping you from adjusting to what will be the new standard? The game's always been broken to some extent, but moaning over new items when you have equal access to them doesn't accomplish anything.

However, if these items turn out to be NX-only or NX-enhanced, that's a slightly different story.

Watch Battle Mage and Wild Hunter have NX only skillbooks, then Mechanic require an NX item to do the first job advancement.

It's been a vertical dropoff since Evan, and it's not showing any signs of getting better.

So, equipment excluded, what's your take on this patch. Seems like you still hate it regardless.

And I'll say this again, my view of this is NOT testing a patch but testing the COMMUNITY to see if they can get some gosh darn good reports. What's the point of releasing EXCLUSIVE, UNTESTED content if we as a community CANNOT GET OUR ACT TOGETHER AND DO IT IN A DECENT MANNER! Sure Nexon can put only MWLB and GMs but the bigger the test subjects, the more accurate the results, statistically speaking.

And for those who are like "They didn't take me. Why not since I did a good job?", just because you can do a good job does not mean they should choose you. Yes, it's good for testing purposes, but KMS has random people testing as well. If they choose people who can do a good job on a game, that's a bit of favoritism and it's not really a good way to do it all the time. It's all about chances when it comes to games such as this. If person A is always chosen over person B, then should person B ever have hopes of getting in when they will always be outshined by A?

In my opinion, Nexon should test the public 1st to see if we're ready. Then choose people who have shown good bug report reporting and add them to a mix of RANDOM people, along with MWLB for the next round. Maybe then we can get Tespia running as intended.

I didnt even expect them to bring in fresh content on the first tespia, so this doesn't suprise me at all.

I assumed tespia was a knee jerk reaction to the meso dupe glitch and such that happened a while back.

Anyway nobody has explained to me still how we know ThaiMS made this and we copy/pasted and that it wasn't the other way around, not that it matters.

Yes because it's such a big deal to spend $6 on skill books which you can easily make from the surveys OR the MTS. We ALL knew Dual Blade would cost NX so why the hell was that a surprise.Quit being so negative upon NEXON ALOT of things have gone up hill now.

Well we don't..we CAN however say PARTS of this ARE GMS exclusive since it's not in the Thai servers.I got hyped up by the calendar but I guess if you think back your right about nothing fresh.

OT:It's nice GMS is adding their own content,I will say I do expect to see more in the main server compared to Tespia. However so far it's not appealing to ME.Maybe it's because I was just too low leveled to enjoy it on Tespia. Anyway it's very nice eye appealing, things we never saw before like the hiding behind bushes they can't get you that sort of thing. With Tespia closing I don't think this would be the ONLY thing in the patch, I CAN see maybe Monday-Tuesday night they test like Hob Goblin pq or something. I don't think this is the ONLY thing in this patch, a lot of us thought the explorer updates was all that wasin one patch, but were proven wrong on patch night. I can see something like that happening. As for Masteria, yes I am stubborn I really am ask anyone, I do believe it's not dead. I think something could happen eventually, but not immediately.I mean hell, anyone here and even I will admit the quests for HH2 SUCKED.But the new maps it gave were VERY nice for training. My final note:I believe this patch needs a tiny bit of work, add in actual training maps, fix the monster rates a little and add a little hidden surprise. I can say this patch would be a win then.

Yeah, but (in Evan's case) when the skillbooks aren't accessible through ANY other way save Cashshop, then it's stupid. When you start to visibly have a real advantage for people buying Cashshop, then there is a problem. The thing is, is that Maplestory was doing just fine with purely comsetic Cashshop items (like Hair coupons, clothes, etc). Then when they released Gachapon, sure, there was a slight advantage to the people getting better equips than others (although they could still be sold for money), but that was alright. Now I can't play a class (Evan) using the almost necessary skill (Magic Guard) without paying Cashshop. They STILL haven't released that skillbook from monster drops.

Also, I guess this is what some people get for not listening to -Hime- when she said that the content wasn't Masteria related. You can't say you weren't warned.

I honestly was thinking when I saw the patch extractions "Well...since we don't know any people from any of the weird versions like TMS/CMS, how are we sure this is just for us?".

I heard andit could be just a rumor, that the patch extractions for Evan originally had the mastery books in the Cashshop.

Well, there's this. Check the bottom, MW30 is listed as a possible prize.

Why do i get the feeling those spheres with the stars are what the chocolates in our data are *supposed* to be?

 Translation of Dragonpon

Explains the dragon guy btw.

Gachapon gives dragonkiwis (in our case chocolates) and then summons a dragon for prizes? Sounds cool but dumb that it's from gach.

I'd rather collect dragonballs than chocolates. :<
Might as well summon the gingerbread man too.

Wait, didn't our dragon have stats to fight? I thought I saw a 6m hp and strong to all elements except holy?

Nope. You need to apply, and also there are other criteria that vary each term that you need to meet.
