#1
just wondering how much each of you have spent on cubes (and cubes only). please don't mention how much your friends have spent. i just want to get a general idea on how much is being made off of this.

Is it about money, or about cubes? I'm not translating into money because I haven't spent a dime on this game, but every 1000NX used gets Nexon $1 richer, so year, confused.

I've bought 66 cubes so far.

But I've only bought one $25 NX card for them so far.

The other cubes were funded by using the Netflix offer twice.

$40-$50. Not that much in my opinion and I'm happy with the equips. Also, a lot of what I made with the cubes was sold for mesos. I'm really happy with my top and earrings and don't plane to cube them anymore. As for my Goggles and bottom, I plan on buying some more cubes while this promotion is going on.

hate posting this many times in a row. part of my message didn't come out of my fingers when i was writing it, sorry.

money (american) or nx, doesn't matter. i just want to get an idea of how much people are spending.

only include nx that you have paid for or gotten through the mts. offers and maple points aren't valid for what i'm looking for.

$581 as of this post (assuming they're 1200 nx each) and taking only the lowest approximations.

Doesn't matter if the NX gets used, they still got the money. As if you got free NX, it doesn't matter to them because it's not like they lose when they give out NX. There's always going to be unlimited amounts of everything in the Cash Shop, unless there's an event or something (once a day things). Monocle

I had bought NX in preparation for a possible AP reset sale this summer. That didn't happen but we did get free AP resets, so I used that NX for cubes. Got me about 50 of them, so, um, $60 so far.

Close to 300k prepaid (MTS'd) and $90 worth of credit, so something around 300 cubes used across 2 characters not evenly distributed.

i had a unique 8 attack belt with 18% str that vanished in the beautiful lovely roll back ... and i got a 21 str top to 9% unique and thats about it the rest was epic the top and belt ofcourse where the poofed in the roll back ... god i love that roll back ... after that i spent the rest of my mesos on cubes which then became a unique htp with 9% str.

0$ so far. With my luck, I would probably never get a unique item with the right stats I need - plus I was never good at scrolling anyway ;P

I'll just have to either live with sucky equips or buy pre-potentialed which I can't afford right now...

I have no clue how you made that much nx out of MTS even with the new ridiculous fee...

I have spent 0nx on cubes, actually I can't even get enough nx.

Why do you care, Polka? They've always had some "cash cow" and always will. There's a reason they're one of the most successful MMO corporations in the world. This thread will not give any accurate representation of the amount spent on the item collectively by the GMS community, and in the end the exact amount is a moot point for the average player. All you need to recognize is it's a decently expensive item to buy in vast quantities, yet considering people buy them in mass quantities, Nexon is raking in millions.

End thread.

$0.00. But I've used about 10 or 11 cubes from NX I've made through MTS.

why do you care why i care? don't come into my thread and dictate whether it should or shouldn't be continued. i'm not trying to get an "accurate" representation, as i'm well aware that some people will spend nothing, some people will spend a little and some people will spend a lot. i'm just interested in seeing those ratios, and how much some people are willing to spend to get perfect equipment. it's interesting to me. your logic is faulty because you assume i'm trying to prove a point rather than just collect some numbers in a public forum. so please, end (your time in my) thread if you're not willing to contribute.

$1028.20 as of this post, with 3 people spending more than $100 (not all of their own money)

edit: 1153.20 as of moore for me, 4 people spending $100+

edit again: subtracting $90 in unconfirmed credit as i assumed it was paid for via paypal. $1063.20
