Omega Sector is a wonderful example of horrible game design. From the terribly designed tower to the vein-like pattern of the roads that went nowhere and felt repetitive. Every floor was its own Superman 64.

Might please you to know Omega sector maps were changed around quite a bit with Big Bang, they're not as bad now. Also cut out about half the floors of Eos tower so it's not as much of a pain in the ass to get down there.
Easiest way to make omega sector more useful? Make the bloody Nautilus-Omega warp actually able to be used.

I haven't gone down there ever since the reward from the Nautilus quest was changed to give you one Nautilus - Omega warp card only. No idea how long that it has been, a year maybe? -_- I wonder why the hell the reward was so ridiculously nerfed. Makes no sence to have a warp that will only teleport you once on your entire Maple life.

I think I was doing a quest, or hunting some Chief Grays or something. 4-5 months ago.

I'll only go there for quests, and I avoid doing those quests. Probably when my Fire Mage was around level 50.

I liked the quests back when it came out; I think went through most of them twice. If it was made more accessible and BB made quests relevant, I could see it becoming more popular. It's a nice area either way.
Better question: Are there any places in KFT that are even remotely good to train at? I've never seen it mentioned in any training guides.  |
