Seriously.
what
no it won't. it would unbalance the game so horribly that no one would ever step foot out of NLC. it HAS to be rebalanced, there are no ifs ands or buts about it. you can't rebalance half the game and then leave the other half as is -- the half that is already quite broken in comparison.

Yes you can, GMS has already done it. GMS first releases NLC and it's pots which makes every single pot from KMS useless, does GMS rebalance this and make it unbroken? No they do not. GMS releases the CWK areas along with Windraiders which makes every KMS training spot from 50 - 80 useless, does GMS rebalance this and make it unbroken? Um, no!
If you think any version with custom content has to rebalance it then you're in for a nasty surprise. Plus at the rate GMS is going we'll get Big Bang first and do you seriously think GMS is going to rebalance the JMS and MSEA custom areas? Haha, no.

none of the things you've brought up compare to the changes big bang will bring. leaving areas like cwk in tact will cost them far too much for them to ignore it. as is obvious from their website and it being the hottest selling item, 2x cards are their main source of income. if they make it easy to train (post bb with current exp rates, wr would be good well into your 140s) they would end up losing thousands of dollars worth of 2x cards per month. nexon america isn't in the habit of wasting opportunities for money.

All that would need to be done is exp changes on mobs. Even then, they dont need to really change anything.

Huh? I thought the trailer for kMS said that Big Bang officially releases on August 12th? Though maybe I misunderstood it?

Like that would stop people from buying 2x. 2x isn't even enough for people anymore, they want 4x, 8x, 10.8x and so on. Just because there would be one super godly training spot would not stop people from buying 2x because most people always want to train faster and faster and faster, nothing will ever change that.
It's foolish to think just because KMS changed everything to their content that every other version will follow suit and do the same to their own content, it's been made obvious enough by GMS and JMS that versions no longer follow suit, they make up their own rules, even more so when it comes to their custom content. And as made obvious by JMS and KMS you can take other version's content and totally rip it up and leave stuff out of it. When Big Bang comes around any version could just change the skills and leave it at that if they wanted too because KMS does not rule them.
Plus each version has a soft spot for their own custom content, they can do anything they want to it. They can make it godly for all players (GMS custom content), or make it where it's near impossible to do (JMS custom content) there are no rules when it comes to a version's custom content, except for what that version wants to do with it. KMS can't change that. They don't have to change their custom content, they can if they want too, but they don't have too because of some sillyness KMS pulled on everyone.

most of your post just seems like wishful thinking. no one is saying that they have to do anything but it's not logical for them to leave it as is. and to go back to the 2x thing; if people level quickly they have less need for 2x cards. of course they'll still use them to get from point A to point B but if it takes one card to get there rather than 20, nexon loses out. it's in their best interest to make grinding as unbearable as possible while making extra experience as appealing as possible.

I totally agree with MetaSeraphim. It's stupid to assume that they will balance their exclusive areas and other World Tour areas with Big Bang.
They'll probably just "copy-paste" the update from KMS and will not touch anything else.

Thinking people will stop buyin 2x cards because it is easier to level is dumb. Everyone of the heavy NX users (even a lot of light users) buy 2x constantly. It cuts the time to level in half.
In KMS, they dont need 2x cards, because there are CONSTANT 2x, 3x, and even 4x events. I will die from shock the day I see a 4x event hit GMS.

Hardly. It's the people who think any version will change their custom content because of Big Bang that is wishful thinking.

someone want to explain what good rebalancing Victoria and Ossyria would be when all it does is make them even more inferior to the exclusive areas? If they're not going to change the local stuff then there's no point in adding big bang at all because absolutely nothing will change.

@combattente: it would be impossible for them to miss the changes to kms mobs in the data.
they would need to make a conscience choice to leave exclusive content as is, and if anyone honestly thinks they will look at that data and see
level 70 Windraiders, 800 exp, 16,000 hp
level 73 Neo Huroids, 289 exp, 15,600 hp
level 80 Lycanthropes, 610 exp, 25,000 hp
level 80 Stormbreakers, 1650 exp, 36,000 hp
and make the decision to leave gms content as is, you'd be delusional. there is no way that they will leave these values as they are by any means except ignorance (which would mean they paid no attention to what they were adding whatsoever), and were that the case, as soon as they saw how quickly people were leveling, they would make the change. they do not want people going from level 60 to 140 in a day, and leaving the experience values as is would do that. also, almost all of zipangu can be left as is because the exp rates there are terrible and besides anego and maybe the boss, there's nothing worth fighting.
you're entitled to your opinions, but counting on such unreasonable things is a sure way to get let down.

Unreasonable and delusional? Haha, you are kidding right? You do know the whole point of the GMS custom areas was to be better than other areas, right? And this is at Issac too.
You're in for a letdown if they do actually change stuff yet make it even more broken than it is now.

where did you get the idea it's to be better than other areas? it's to be unique and interesting, and make you feel connected more to your version.

I think someone in another thread pointed out how mellow bosses like Anego and BF would be without the change, or that broken piece of crap Neo city expansion GMS pulled from out of a dead dodos arse for that matter. A weak Anego without altered HP and Def would die so fast it wouldn't even be funny. I can see how the KSing and hatred gonna grow into extreme proportions and affect a huge chunk of the higher leveled community. Then again, seeing how little Nexon is doing about the absolutely repulsive 50% 2h weapon scroll abuse, I am not entirely sure Meta aint on to something. Nothing is certain though, so people should drop the notion of them sitting on the only possible outcome.

Wait, whoa, calm down guy, you're trying -way- too hard to push your speculations as facts. How are those comparisons any different from what we -already- have?
Lv.70 Windraiders: 800 Exp, 16k HP l Lv.80 Stormbreaker: 1650 Exp, 36k HP
Lv.70 TauroMacis: 270 Exp, 15k HP l Lv.80 Lycanthrope: 850 Exp, 27k HP
Lv.70 Klock: 270 Exp, 15k HP l Lv.80 Eye of Time: 850 Exp, 24k HP
You get the idea. Crimson is -already- much better in comparison, why would Big Bang force it to change?

Okay, leaving the monsters on the sidelines for a moment. The NLC pots are enough of a reason to think why they wouldn't change their baby, you can buy in bulk a pot that restores 75% of your HP and MP, that is better than Power Elixirs solely because you can buy them when you please.
If they really go through this rebalancing thing to match Big Bang they would also have to change the pots because the pots are more broken than apples.

You're in for a letdown if they do actually change stuff yet make it even more broken than it is now. Because there were so many great training spots in NLC and the mansion...
oh wait a minute they each only had one good spot and 40 worthless maps. Kinda like every other town in the game.
Even look at other exclusives - Thai floating market? utter trash. Shanghai? Just as bad, if not worse. Neo Tokyo? let's see if you can survive in there for 5 minutes at an appropriate level as any class besides warrior. That is, of course, after you've paid 20$ to get in, or however much it cost.
Yeah there are good spots there, often times better than some existing spot, but that has ALWAYS been the case. Ariant almost completely replaced level 2x spots on vic, Magatia was for the longest time one of the single most popular spots in the game in KMS. Hell even post Big bang this is happening, Edelstein is so overrun with arans and Cygnus and so on that it's hard to do the resistance class quests. why? Edelstein is a lot better than the other adjusted areas.
Right now, yes, the level 7x-8x monsters in the keep are far better than the alternatives in other areas. But before the keep, where did people train at those levels? On Zombies, roids, whatever else. They weren't training on appropriate level monsters, they were training on monsters in the 5x range. For some unknown reason the HP/EXP ratio and damage on level 7x mobs jumped way up, then went back to normal for the higher level monsters. The result was that no one used them and stayed at their old training spots. Windraiders, Stormbreakers, those are what level 70 and 80 mobs SHOULD have been from the beginning. With Big Bang, those previously worthless 7x and 8x mobs were put back at suitable ratios in line with other monsters. They're not unusually bad anymore.
i'm not saying they'll be nerfed - by far, the easiest thing for nexon to do would be to jack the monsters levels up until they're back at a suitable range. That would mean making windraiders 95 or so, instead of 70, for example. Not a big deal. Yes they'll still be somewhat better than the other nearby monsters, but it won't be so gamebreakingly huge that 4th jobbers will be training on level 70 mobs.
