A while ago, I recall someone having trouble equipping their crossbow even though they clearly had the STR required to use it.

Well... Something like that just happened to me as well, and unless this has something to do with Dual Blades that I did not previously know about, then it's safe to say that this is a stat glitch, possibly linked to the potential system.

Note the Dragon Toenail dagger. It has +2 DEX, and with it equipped, I have 92 DEX total. When I unequip it though, I somehow lose 4 DEX instead of the 2 that is expected, pulling me to 88 DEX instead of the expected 90. And before anyone asks, my Katara has no DEX bonuses. (Yeah, this strange glitch resulted in me having to wait one more level to equip my Shinkita if I also wanted to equip my level 50 armor as well.)

It's not a glitch. Without the dex on your dagger, you fall below the dex requirements for your armor/katara.

Probably to prevent:

"OMG LOLZ u spent so much IRL money" or "LOLZ NUB u didnt wash enuf"

I think southperry is well beyond that level of stupidity. You can't really tell if the person washed anymore because he might have +%HP/MP equips. And just about every equip on this page raises the chance of getting hacked, yet people still post because its good.

Why does everyone cover their HP/MP?

I never saw any thread with HP/MP blurred out except the "You got served" thread on Sleepywood's Scania section. Only the most annoying people post anything in that section to begin with and usually they're not too strong; however, I think the stronger people are beginning to follow suit.

The shirt and shoes both give one dex. Buffing you up to 92, and when you remove the dagger, you no longer have the 90 dex required to wear the other gear.

Overall needs some pretty cubes and so does the Knuckle, but, at the moment, I'm happy none of 'em when boom! : D

I would suggest waiting until you have a lvl 80+ overall and hat with 3 stats each from potential to cube since they are both not finished scrolling.

But some people like to look good with their class equips. And I think he's doing a good job.

But, but... I like my Canopus gear. It cost me so much to make and looks so damn sexy on my character! And now that I've gotten past the fear of Potentializing it, I'm so damn happy!
