Isn't it obvious though? It's a cute little 2D game where you customize your character to be as cute as you can make it. It just screams girl game. Not to mention it's simple to learn and play.

If they wanted guys to play male characters then they shouldn't have made the female sprites so fappable.

I gotta be honest, Maple has proven to be very high on the 'actual girl' population compared to just about every other MMO i've played. Lot of my friends turned out to be girls for real, and pretty at that.I only speak for the ones that i have seen more than one pic of to claim such. These numbers do not surprise me.
As a person who's been active on several MMOs, i can honestly say all the nicelooking/most likely real females play MS. Everywhere else, no it's almost definitely a dude.

Some other MMOs I use Female Characters.
In Pangya for example: I'm using Kooh as my main character.
