Each job belongs to a seperate catagory, just as adventurers, heros, etc. We all know that. But, heres a small list to figure out which belongs where.

Adventurers: Warriors, Mages, Bowmen, Thieves, Pirates
Adventurers V2: <?Warrior?>, <?Mage?>, <?Bowmen?>, Dual blade, <?Pirate?>
Legends: Aran, Evan, <?Bowmen?>, <?Thief?>, <?Pirate/Testonen?>
Cygnus knights: Dawn Warrior, Blaze wizard, Wind Archer, Night walker, Thunder breaker
Resistance: <?warrior?>, Battle mage, Wild hunter, <?Thief?>, Mechanic

Everything I put in "<?Name?>" Is what we do not have yet. That being said, Nexon has about 9 more jobs to add to supposedly complete the list if there is one.

Unless they add a new catagory of jobs, this is about all we will get until then. In other words, were waiting on 9 more jobs.

I wholeheartedly disagree with this. Part of the balancing factor of certain classes is that they have less choice than others. The resistance has fewer choices in terms of advancement than Adventurers. Cygnus has fewer choices than adventurers. That does not mean that we're getting the rest of the classes since that goes against what those class selection rankings really mean.

I only made this list to predict what we might get in terms of availability, not what we will get.

are you implying that aran was too old so they made evan? that evan was too old so they made db? that db was too old so they made resistance?

we can only speculate on their reasoning but i can assure you that that's not it. it's most easily presumed that creating new classes is far more profitable than content due to 2x card consumption and nx clothing/skill books.

I agree. Everyone thinks that because one class corresponds to adventurer class, automatically means that there will be a whole set of classes in a similar category. There is no proof suggesting such, so we have no reason to believe such.

However, I believe there was a recent confirmation about the other Legends, if I'm not mistaken...? (Keep in mind that these may not be Bowman + Pirate + Thief)

I'm only anticipating more Hero classes.

There were name drops for three other classes a long time ago: Ian, Ochan, and Utan. I kind of want more content before new classes, or atleast a way to switch current classes to new ones. Battle Mage looks cool, but I'm not interested in making a whole new character.

Just because some classes are similar, doesn't mean they will have all 5 base explorer classes in each category.

Resistance + Mechanic + KoC are pretty much settled according to the lore.

Explorers are pretty much settled. Dual Bladers actually count as explorers themselves (think of it as a 3rd thief class, just like mages and warriors). Doubt there will be more v2 adventurers. Honestly I think Dual Bladers are just a sad make up class, because they realized they should have made shadowers have dual blades in the first place.

I would only see them making more Hero classes. But even 2 seems like alot w/ Evan and Aran. How many seperate stories of opposing sides to the Black Mage could they possibly have.

1.- Nexon WILL finish legends, they said it in an interview
2.- Resistance will only have 3 jobs!
3.- There will be no such thing as adventurers V2 DB was just an event job that was overpowered.

You can't really classify classes right now because there maybe a gaZillion more classes that nexon and their mother are going to make soon..

Your thread title implies making "absolutes," not predictions.

And all of my other comments have been voiced numerous times, so I'll just QFT the ones I feel are most important. First, what the hell is "Adventurers V2?" You made ANOTHER tier for Adventurers when in actuality it makes more sense that Dual Blades are just a third branch of Thieves, just like how there are three branches of Warriors and Mages already. Aside from that, I disagree with your Resistance and Legend lists in terms of predictability, but can't provide any more evidence than what has already been posted.

I agree that the legends will be finished but that is it. I doubt nexon wants all of their players slitting their wrists from all the new classes.

People have to call them something else since they aren't exactly like the other Explorer classes. It's better to call them Explorer Gaiden class since they came out later as a side story so to speak.

Same here...anything else would be surprising (well not really since they can always come out with another class..and probably will).
