Mafia Gameplay Thread - Game over: MAFIA WINS

I was waiting for the right time to post this, and since a fair number of people have been active...

Ray and CoB are either both Mafia, or the Lovers. CoB claims they're the Lovers, however, he's also tried to trick me about other things through some obvious BS. I'm dying in any situation, since the remaining Lover will probably kill me if CoB wasn't lying.

Since I'll die no matter what, you guys should know despite how I'll look.

Just a quick clarification (I've been getting a couple of questions about this): the clue is that quoted bit in the story (as in [ quote ]ed, not ""ed). The rest of the story is just there for flavor. Also, the clue is meant to point to the person who killed Old Paulie.

The Mafia isn't a monster, the villagers are monsters. The Mafia was obviously hurt by the villagers in the past, is calling them monsters, and is now taking revenge on them with no regret. The Mafia would have to be someone that was innocent turned guilty.

However, looking at the list of people, I have yet to figure out who this might be.

Didn't we already talk about this in IRC? You're reading too much into it. It's the word choice that matters, not the back story. Especially since Xela's new- he wouldn't know enough about anyone to know if they were "innocent turned guilty".

Voting for me is the same exact thing as voting for Ray, because I constantly maintained that I'm the Lover of Ray. When you find out Ray is the lover of SOMEONE....

There was a moment of silent studying. There were a few questions asked. Then suddenly, a shout of "it must have been Alex!" was heard. Explanations were given, counterarguments made, but only one person really tried to lead a defense, adamant that Alex was innocent. A few other theories were hatched, but none of the stuck. Alex, lost in his own despair and resigned for the worst didn't even try to say anything.

"Any last words?" The noose was around Alex's neck and Chris had a hand on the lever to drop him. Alex just stared at Chris with a dead look, then locked eyes with Sam. "Don't cry." As Sam screamed "NO!", Chris pulled the lever, dropping Alex from the platform.

After that display, the town suspected Sam to just be another member of the mafia. They kept Sam restrained while they conducted a search of Alex's body. After a long while, however, they had to admit that they had failed to find anything incriminating on Alex's person.

Shocked at what they realized they had done, the remaining townspeople collected themselves and brought Alex's body to the cemetery to bury it alongside Paulie. They gave a rather awkward apology to Sam, who had not stopped sobbing the entire time. But Sam was more than just sad, now; anger was taking over as the primary emotion. There will be blood tonight. Someone is going to pay for this.

The townspeople, still a bit shaken, returned to their homes for the night.

Day is now over. Rayquaza2233 is now dead by votes. He was Alex Jacobson, one of the two lovers. Looks like there might be a bit of extra blood tonight, ladies and gentlemen.

Get those night actions in.
