just a quick question before I invest in one for my sisters i/l. do their effects even work? as in, using an ice move with the ice one gives you like 50% boost or somthing. forgot what it was.

but yeah, do their effects even work? I know when they were released they didn't but maybe thats been fixedO.o...

Yes, they work. It's 125% for the primary and 110% for the secondary. Opposing elements are nerfed to 75%, and neutral is not affected.

Not just opposing, Holy gets reduced which ever one you use (to the rage of a thousand bishops).

Any element not used by a job is considered opposing.

Not by definition, no. That's something you made up by yourself. We don't even have opposing elements in MS since enemies are not of an element, just weak, neutral or strong to them. Opposing elements in MS could be fire-ice, holy-dark and lightning-poison even if the last one makes little sense. Not to mention dark element goes by unaffected by either boost or reduction.

In the case of elemental weapons, any element that is not increased by the weapon is considered opposing. Opposing is just the word used because it's a lot simpler than "element not used by the class". And so far the only dark element weapon is dark fog(correct me if needed); have we confirmed it isn't affected by elemental weapons?

Killer Wings, Phantom Imprint, and Dark Fog are Dark Element. Neither of them are reduced by EWands.
