Destructive Rollback after SC

Rollbacked on two accounts that trained and logged off in the early afternoon. Not Rollbacked on my main, who just card hunted a little.

Now that duey is "working" again, I've checked all the characters I've used duey to prior to that issue for their items. Seems a few of them were missing, and those that are there are back in the delivering state.

Side Note: It seems the log-off event is still going on. One of my accounts that never won anything got something while checking.

Also, a number of dcmulexxx characters in the FM right now lagging like crazy. Tried reporting them, but I got an odd prompt I've never seen before. "You are unable to report on this character." Is that something new? Never been banned, even accidentally.

@ above, yea my friend logged my mule and he got logoff prize on my char =x i hope it stays, i love free nx stuff.

I got a Critical Ring about 15 minutes before the SC. Luckily didn't lose it. I did lose two levels on my Dual Blade, but I don't care seeing that some people lost ALL of their main character equips and worse. People lost billions of mesos and this goes completely unannounced, wow...


Edit: Been discussing with guildmates, this actually sounds plausible... from now on, 4 days before any server check (3 is okay, 4 just to be sure) don't trade items, don't do anything, don't even login to your account. When the patch is done, don't login until 24 hours have passed. Seems the only safe way to play now. Specially dangerous times to play are 48 hours before a patch and the first 24 hours after.

GMS already haves the Pserver's oh so common flying NPCs (saw them on Mu Lung yesterday lol).

Now they just need to reset the servers every twelve hours, and their set.

Holy hell I'm glad Bera avoided a rollback (though we seem to avoid most of those types of problems). I spent almost 6 hours training on 3.6x and 7.2x yesterday getting an F/P from 31-50 for a last minute ring. Had to ask a ton of favors and would not do it again.

This rollback is truly strange.. Thing is I was making my last-minute ring mule, and guess what? It got rolled back
But that isn't the strange part, I had transfered the ring to my main right after I reached to 50. And today, I just checked, my ring mule got walmart'd back to 39.. and my main still has a ring

Conclusion: Character rollback, but not account?

my DB's still lvl 109 on rankings, i leveled it last night 3 hours before the SC, can't check ingame now since i'm at work, but i think broa didnt get rolled-back.

It seems to be rollbacked according to rankings, didn't bother logging on it today, and I have my wg on my hermit definitely....

I just got my ring fucking mule 2hours b4 sc to lvl 50 on 1x and apples at truckers.

As you may know there has been an unintentional rollback on the Windia server. Not all players were affected by this but players that were affected lost less than 24 hours of gameplay. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this rollback, it cannot be reversed. This was something we wished that would not have happened and we sincerely apologize that it has.

To compensate the players affected by the rollback we are:
- Refunding all NX spent during the rollback period.
- Allocating 3,000 Maple Points per affected account.

And for the entire world of Windia we are hosting a 2x EXP and Drop event for Windia on July 30, 12 PM-6 PM Pacific (3 PM-9 PM Eastern).

Again, we apologize for any distress this might have caused for the affected Windians. Please know that we are actively working on preventing such a situation for all Maplers.

I don't complain, but people who had their equips vanish are gonna ragequit. Bye Stormcaster gloves, Facestompers, INT equips, and a ton of crap for 3k Maple Points.

How you lose items:
Character A puts the WG in storage.
Character B (same account) retrieves it from storage.
*insert lolnexon*
Character B gets rollbacked to when he hadn't retrieved it.
Character A doesn't get rollbacked.
Boom! Item vanished to the air.

How you duplicate items:
Character A trades the WG to character B, a friend.
Character B uses the WG for a while, and gives it back to character A.
*insert lolnexon*
Character B gets rollbacked to when he was wearing the WG.
Character A doesn't get rollbacked.
Profit!! Two WGs.

Items vanished/duped because the rollback was partial, not total.

Rollbacks can be a convinience or a screwover. But it's mostly screwovers =__=

Would i have lost items if i had put them in my shop before the sc? I had some items that i wanted to sell so i put them in my shop before i left. My shop probably went down before the sc. Did i lose my items?
