Are 2 Bonus Items Junk?

To answer the question rather then responding to the typical "Why you waste your time" player. It really does depend on the equipment. My smiling mask only came up with two stats, do you think I'll be able to find another tradeable one to risk another 90% potential on? Probably not. On a glove and a cape? Yeah I would resell to invest into a 3 stat.

In response to the topic title, assuming you have massive amounts of nx to toss around, I think the best course of action would be to mass maker the equipment you want with basic crystals, spam 70%s on them until you get a 3-liner, then cube that to death, then scroll, the throw on one enhance, and you're done, unless you've already invested over max mesos or something worth on an existing piece of equipment. Of course, you'll have to hunt for your cape/earring.

I'll probably go
1) maker or hunting for drops (I do need Maker for my purple lucida since they don't drop from anything I can hunt)
2) potential for 3 stats
3) scroll regularly to 0 slots u/h
4) enhancement scrolls until it beats whatever I had before
5) cube like crazy.
6) hammer/white/pink the last 2 slots, maybe, I guess.

I guess we will see if item bonuses can be upgraded from 2 slots to 3 slots since Thorr is testing it. I have already heard 4 unconfirmed reports of this change. Maybe the chance is just really low because obviously MagicsBISH, iFrancisco and JellyFlower all spent a huge amount of NX on cubing to no avail. The chance for bonus upgrading could be so rare that it might be better for everyone to give up on that easy-to-replace 2 slot item and cube a 3 slot clean item.

Honestly, I can see people keeping 2 stat bonus weapons, depending on the weapon itself, but replacing every other piece of gear with 3 stat bonuses, again depending on the type of equip.

Too bad there's no other "Face Accessories" that are lvl 30+, asides from the DB masks, that can "replace" the mask in terms of stat bonuses, so your point is kinda moot. =/

Branch Nose?

Branch Nose is level 10, or at least mine is.

Pretty sure there is a level 40 branch nose.

The only other face accessory you'll get that's better is the branch nose, which adds, 1 avoid? Sorry but I'm happy with my 2% stat/hp increase a long with 7 speed. Plus it looks better than an erection on your face.

Tree branch is 1000x cheaper than smiling mask and is lot more common so more chance of it being 3 stats also they add about twice as much % stats as 30- masks

if you don't like the look cashshop sells permanent face accessories, with the money you pay for smiling mask you can probably buy like 100 cs face items

There's a lvl 10 untradable tree branch nose that comes with 5 or so STR and a lvl 40 tradable one that comes with some avoid. Both from gashapon. There.

I rarely gacha / FM in Maple, so I wouldn't have known =/
Also level =/= knowledge about the game. Granted I know quite a bit about Maple, but I'm far from knowing everything in this game.

Isn't rat mouth level 35 too? So basically all commonly tradable noses have the same tier, minus the smiling mask.

IIRC Rat Mouth is level 25, so Branch Nose is the best common one. Lucky Dual Bladers get level 100 masks.
