CS Mastery books

What about people's level and the other skills they had already leveled? Super Nerd was level 38 with maxed Haste and 5 points in Slash Storm. Any others that got the bug got similar conditions? Anyone had the same conditions and didn't have it glitch?

Well, I had the exact same circumstances, but apparently we're going by Cyanne's skill build. I mean I would assume people who've made a DB and frequent this site would look for a skill build in the Thief forum. If that's the case and that that particular build is the cause, then I would assume we'd have a lot more people with that problem.

My instant DB is having no problem.
Used three CS books so far (slash storm, and Flying Assaulter/Mirror package).

Well I sure hope we get our skill point back or something. It really doesn't bother me TOO much, seeing as it's not a big deal, but on a wide scale, it is a pretty bad thing to have happen. I can't even wonder why it would only affect people following the build in the Thief Forum, though.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner, but if you haven't, go log a ticket. I logged one a few hours ago before I went out for the night, and got a response an hour later. A non-automated response. They're looking into it, they sent a copy of my ticket to the correct department, and they'll email me back as soon as they get a response from said department. Be specific, as well.

I sent in a ticket too, but they have yet to respond to mine. But it's good to know that they are aware of it and are going to do something (hopefully). I've even left 1 SP out of Slash Storm, leaving it at level 19 and just continued on with the build as normal, in case they do decide to put the skill point in.

Oooh that's a good idea. I think I can use one of the resets they gave me. But doesn't bloody storm require max slash storm? Oh well. I hope they fix it by the time I need to worry about that. Haha. I'll reset a point out of it tomorrow morning.

Well if Bloody Storm does require that, I actually wouldn't know, cause I haven't made it that far, lol.

So it is, what it is. Regardless, I'm gonna keep it at 19, just in case, like I said. But who knows, maybe they'll just stick 1 point into our SP pool to apply to something else, since we're technically 1 point behind. I don't really care how they fix it, as long as they do and make sure the other Mastery Books don't do this as well.

I raised mine from level 1 and used the Slash Storm skillbook from the package and I had 6 in SS after I used it.

This happened to me too, Nexon has been making too many mistakes too often for my comfort zone, I refuse to play until THIS one is fixed ._.
By the way, this glitch has happened to mostly all my friends in Khaini, just sending in a ticket and hoping for the best. If I get one of those nothing we can do, or no response at all thingies I may as well take it up with the BBB, because at least in my eyes it can be considered a " Scam "

I used slash storm, flying assaulter and mirror image without issues.

Today I used tornado spin and got scammed the point too... The only thing I can think of is that I had spare SP when using the first 3 and not when I used tornado spin

I had the same issue. I had just leveled up, put 1 point into Slash Storm to make it level 5 (my build was messed up at the time), leaving me with 2 SP leftover. After I used the book, I was still at level 5. I'm not sure if I should leave Slash Storm at 19 or not, now.

Sure, I'll really only lose out on 1 point of Nimble Body, but if it happens with the other Mastery Books too...

For reference, I bought the 3rd Dual Blade Package, the one with Tornado Spin and Slash Storm.

They just responded to mine, it basically said the same thing SuperNerd's did, who knows how long it will take for them to fix this one

To the person who said it glitches when you have SP ready to use that isn't true. I just used the FA and MI books and got my bonus SP while I had 21 points of SP saved.

I might have a weird cause for why this glitch occurs. Keep in mind, I'm only throwing an idea out there. Some people bought their mastery books when they needed it, right? I bought mine levels before I needed it; and to tell you the truth, sometimes I like to double click on mastery books just for the heck of it, just because the sound sounds cool. Perhaps that's why? Did either of you double click on it before you even had the skill/had any points in it/didn't have level 5 in it?
