The revealed potential thread!

That someone is right; the % stats stack off one another, so having 5 +9%s is equal to about +54%, and not +45%.

This means that % stat increases, such as str, dex, luk, and int, and more vauleable than +%attack, because +%attack can only be found on weapons, but +%stat can be found on anything (I think), making stats easier to stack and much more effective--unless you're low leveled and have low str/dex/luk/int.

So just to clarify

+% stats all stack (AP stats, magic, WA) so they're additive

Total damage i.e. 9% damage, 6% damage will be 1.09*1.06, not a straight 1.15

Same thing for boss i.e. 30% and 30% on boss is not 60%, but rather 1.3*1.3

725*1.03=746.75*1.03=769.15*1.03=792.22

 With 9% str from gear

So if i didnt pineapple anything up, the % gear is not multiplicative(right term?, been awhile since my last math class f3)

you're missing a zero 1.3 would be a +30% increase

can anyone test +% all stat and +% single stat to see if they are additive or multiplicative?

Not potentialed by me, but I bought this. It's worth over 9 INT to me and I can actually fight while HP washing. Totally awesome use of 3m. I can MTS my 11 INT wand for some money.

After having 2/6 scrolls land on my Taragon and feeling VERY pissed off at my luck, I decided to go "hell with that", go big, and chuck out 30 mill for a Potential Scroll

Results made me shat bricks:



I think I won't be cubing this anytime soon (or should I?). The accuracy boost is amazing. Potentializing my Taragon boosted my accuracy to 215. <3
