AP reset use
#21
Arrg Wrote:dex is entirely useless post-big bang for warriors. You only have 1 stat. So those warriors that have 60+dex are missing out on damage they would normally have if they made it after the big bang.

Damage formula before big bang:
3*STR + DEX
... (variety of weapons in between)
5* STR + DEX

Damage formula after big bang:
4*STR + DEX

All they've done is normalize the warrior weapons so they all have the exact same ratio of STRBig GrinEX.

There's enough acc gear around that it's currently pointless to be anything but dexless, so they're not losing anything they weren't already miissing.

Washed my BM and hit minimum MP.
Lowered my STR due to awesome potential goggles.
Reset my 15 base INT (yeah I know, WTP, I was a terrible noob who wanted more MP) down to 4.

Free resets + potential equips = yay!

Hmmm so just need to understand one more thing before I spend my resets as well xD

Post big bang patch all you need to hit the monster is to match the monster level, there is a certain number required to hit that monster but even if you surpass that number you can still miss.

And no one is freaking out about missing all the time because you just get tons of acc from potential equips correct?

Thats all I need to know XD correct me if I'm wrong please.

No, not really. In KMST, my level 101 Crusader has 4 base DEX and like 20 base accuracy (with no equips on) and I can hit every monster of my level or lower. So, hit and miss is 100% based on your level and the level of the monster now.

Whoa...I forgot I had a level 50 character on my account (hello ring mule), so I'm now dexless on my hero.

Wait, do Lukless mages still miss on all monsters?

I wouldn't say I used them on HP washing. I just had 50 points in my HP that I was never going to wash out. (Until now.)

I have 25 plus another 20 AP resets to get from my Hermit. I think I'll take out that 40ish points I placed into INT for HP washing. Since I double washed another 25 points of MP I don't need to weaken myself so much anymore. At most I'll miss out on ~60-90 MP, which is barely ~120-200 HP. With potential equipment losing out on 120-200 HP is peanuts compared to what I will eventually have.

So what's the point of Accuracy overall? Is it only Warrior Accuracy that works like this?

As for the actual topic, I HP washed my sniper, reset my 5/5 Int/Luk and pulled a few points out of STR. If I can get any potential scrolls I might reset a few more points out. If I level up enough before the expire I'll probably take points out MP and put them into DEX, since the points I took out of Str, Int and Luk are now in HP.

I moved my dex down to 45
i used to be 110 base dex
im never gonna be dexless.
because i like my cape you need 85 dex to wear it.

I also cleaned up my dirty washing.
i took like 15pts from mp but i know i put more pts in hp than that.

Also the hit and miss factor will be a drag for warriors. some of the best exp ive gotten was burning pots at places i was too nub for.
And it makes some things dumb if there is ever a lvl 200 boss all warriors 199 and lower will miss?

Post big bang, the only thing accuracy does is make you have a better chance of hitting monsters above your level. If they are your level and below, then you could have 4 accuracy and still hit them 100%

Hit minimum mp on my bucc, and I don't have my equips set right to take points out of dex. Now have to sell all this crap ASAP so I can use these extra 15 resets.

Reset my Bishop's LUK down to 52. My other account only has LUKless Mages so I can't do anything with the AP resets.
