CS Mastery books

Well I purchased the Slash Storm Mastery Book from the Cash shop today after I "Maxed" it. I used it and it worked; now the mastery level is 20. It's just that I didn't get the extra sp that the book promised. Not that it's that big of a deal, but I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting this problem.

I had bought the slash storm + thorns package, worked for me and i got the extra point for it.

Not sure about the seperate books though.

I used a Slash Storm mastery book today, I had 6 points in Slash Storm right after, so it added a point into the skill. So, I'm pretty sure it's not like 1 free SP, if that's what you're thinking.

As he said, all the book does is make the skill level 6 when you use the book. It adds the extra SP automatically into Slash Storm, so you don't receive the option to place the skill elsewhere.

Strange then... I guess it's only me o_O

I bought the slash storm book by itself and the mirror image + flying assaulter package and the slash storm book worked properly. I haven't tried the other two because I'm not 70 yet, but the rest of the items in the pack work properly.

If anyone can offer me any advice or anything, it'd be appreciated. I'm going to be really pissed if my whole build is messed up or something, now.

I see nothing wrong. O_o It just looks like you haven't bought the Slash Storm book. If that's the case, your build looks perfectly fine. At least, that's the same point allocation I had by that level in JMS, except I had only level 14 Self Haste for the longest time, since my speed and jump maxed out at 140/123 with level 14 anyway. Keep going as you are. You're doing fine.

I bought the Slash Storm Mastery Book from the Cash Shop and used it. That's what the message at the bottom is related to. It didn't get another skill point in the skill, it's still level 5. Unless that's what it's supposed to be.

So it's a bug, I guess? The single mastery scroll doesn't give a point, but the one that comes from package does?

I used one from the Tornado Spin/Slash Storm package and had the same issue and didn't get the 1 free point into it.

I used the Slash Mastery Scroll without the package and it worked correctly.

Unless sometimes it works differently and it doesn't give you the 1 extra point until you level again or something. I really don't know.

I leveled a few times since I got the mastery book, and it never applied the extra point. Though, like I said before, it doesn't make a huge difference with the build I'm using (Cyanne's) as it's just one less point in nimble body. But if it happens with ALL the skillbooks I use, that'll be a problem. I got it through the package btw. Also another friend of mine had the same issue.

I bought it as a stand-alone Mastery Book. Just the book and nothing else.

And yeah, that's what I was thinking. It isn't so bad this time around, but if it does every time I use one of these Mastery Books, then it's a big problem.

I doubt you guys missed it, but when you use the CS book, the skill point is assigned to the skill automatically instead of it showing in your SP pool.

Anyway. I used the ST mastery book and got my point no prob. Used it on a DB I leveled from scratch btw. It might be a problem for the instant DB characters only, who knows...

I made my Dual Blader from scratch, as well, and nope, it wasn't automatically put into my skill, as shown in the screenshot above. My Slash Storm is still level 5, even after it said the Mastery Book was used and was successful. And I have nothing in my SP pool either.

I bought the slash storm book individually with maple points, used it when my slash storm was at level 5, and it immediately gained an extra point. I didn't start from 30 if that's at all relevant.

Soooo, so far there's no definitive cause for this glitch? o_O

I mean people who've started at lv 1 and 30 both have had it work and not work and people who've gotten it through package and individually have got it to work and not work... Strange.
