Unable to use AP resets to reduce HP/MP

Why is that?

You get more HP per AP usually, but a lot of classes get a +% HP skill, meaning it's best to have the highest amount of HP before the BB patch as possible.

Ok, given your previous post then, that must mean the DB is getting this +%HP skill (I don't know personally).

Whether or not it's worth it to HP wash pre-big bang in that case depends on your level during the patch as low levels wouldn't benefit so much from +%HP. It also depends on the degree to which you wish to HP wash--if you're HP washing 300+ times then likely the gunslinger who received 2x HP per AP (post big bang) would benefit from washing post big bang.

Does the %HP skill really work like that though? That seems silly--I'd think it would work like HB, where it's contingent on your base HP (the difference here is that the +%HP skill is passive whereas HB is active).

I don't know really what I was doing, but here's what I did to get it to work.

1st reset: Take 1 point out of my dex and add it to HP
Resets 2-19: Take points out of MP and add them into HP
Last Reset: Take 1 point out of MP and put it back into Dex.

I have the answer! Okay so my dual blade is lvl 100 and i started from level 30 and had the same problem as you until later on! What happens is dual blades started level 30 are missing the hp/mp/ and sp points from first and second job advancement. Bye bye bonus.... So dual blades with the level 30 start are missing approximately 600-700 base hp as well as the mp i spoke of. This means you cant wash until later on. My hp has now passed normal levels but i had to use a lot of my free resets for it after earning over the regular mp amount with int gears. Hopefully nexon fixes this because i should have another 800-1000 hp already...

Do regular adventurers suffer this when they use a Maple Life to make a lv 30 character?
