Did you started your DB at level 30?

Even though Nexon said (I honestly didn't find any evidence of them saying this, but I'm gonna just say it anyways.) that DBs wouldn't be eligible to get the ring, why do they get Cassandra's quest line that is exactly the same as the adventurers to get the Adventurer ring at level 50?

They don't, it's just the fact that they share the same beginner (and rogue?) job IDs as regular thieves, so that quest line would abruptly end as you advance at level 20.

So do level 30s finish all their quests? My friend said all the required quests were finished, just want to confirm.

That would be interesting. Keep reporting. Big Grin

I made mine at 30 and I was able to put all my sp into the latest job advancement at lvl 30. Right now I'm lvl 32 and I literally have zero points in any 1st job skills and I maxed self haste, 5 slash storm, 4 fatal blow and then the rest of my points into mastery/booster. I'm assuming this isn't suppose to happen since at lvl 32 i should only have 7 points in the latest job advancement right? I don't know if anyone would count this as a benefit from starting at 30 but I assume that you can't do this starting from 1.

You can't. That's why its awesome. Though it is pretty dumb to not get triple stab. :/ One of your best mobbing skills for a while.

Really? From playing around with a lvl 5 slash storm, it seems like a good mob skills. If I had to start from 30 again I would just spend the nx on the book and put the 20 points that triple stab would need and put it into slash storm

IDEA: Stay a rogue until you're level 50 and get the ring. Then job advance all the way to DB 2nd Job+ (if that's right).

Yeah, you're likely to find yourself still using it for a while.

Triple stab is ridiculously strong and fast for a 2nd job skill, and it even places more emphasis on your stronger dagger range with the imbalanced hits. It's also much more spammable than slash storm. I wonder how it compares to upper stab on bosses when you get thorns and mirror image on mobs of 3 or less, could be useful at ckpq when/if DBs can enter.

Still waiting for a confirmation.
Also do you advance to the 2nd+ job right away?

you are already advanced when you spawn in kerning. For quests, some of them seem to be finished but I don't know which ones since I didn't start at 1. The ones that were still in my quest log when I started were the training quests and the chain quests where you have to find 5 etc items from subway mobs.

Using these ranges :
Displayed Ranged: 5052~8954
Dagger Range: 3504~6209
Blade Range: 2289~4056
And 60% range for Mirror Image, I got 76352 DPS for Upper Stab and 67844 DPS for Triple stab. Against 1 mob, Faster (2), no aerial damage included.

Also I started at level 1.

Gonna do level 1, rather have the easy int-gained MP.

(and add a bit of base int--being artificially a few levels "behind" doesn't hinder training speed much and you still get SP).

Started at level 1 for the storyline and overall enjoyment of leveling up a new character from scratch~
