Did you started your DB at level 30?

Simply a little poll to see if the majority of people here that created Dualbades started at level 30. I started at level 30, but found out i was missing some sp and quests so i deleted it (while his cs mastery book was still on him, lol) and remade one level 1.

The SP you get from the lvl30 thing can be used on 2nd Job skills.
Got..10 Double, 10 tripple, 19 mastery, 10 booster, 7 Fatal, and 5 slash storm. At lvl30.

Level 30.
Kinda wish I didn't because it was just so overwhelming. Felt as if I was thrown into a pool trying to learn how to swim as I was drowning.

Did you have to do all of the required quests 1-30 if you started off at level 30?

I just went with a lvl 1 DB to do the quests.

I haven't made one yet but I'll prob do a 30 to try it out then a lvl 1 for the quests/items etc

Everything before the lvl14 one was done. Needed to do the rest.
Some others were done too, I'm sure, but I was too lazy to check all of them.

Yup, I did. I'm loving it. I'd spend like a few hours trying to do all the quests and getting to 30, now I just pop right in, figured out the build I wanted, and haven't looked backed. I'm 36 right now with 10 Double, 10 Triple, 19 Mastery, 6 Booster, 1 Fatal, 14 Haste and 20 Storm.

You people are not getting 13 dark sight like a lot of the guides are saying?

On mule accounts I plan on doing this, but on my main I am going to start normally.

Because you can still add into it later.
Dark Sight is hardly even needed early on.

I'll make one later, but I'm skipping to level 30. No point in boring myself with 1st and 2nd job, since DBs can't do the Crit Ring quest.

Those 13 points are better spent into more valuable skills at early Dual Blade levels.

You can't get adventurer rings on a DB adventurer...

How do you guys get level 30 DBs? Does it give you the option when you first make one?
