About the adventurer ring event in 0.88

You'll be able to get the ring right away, provided that you already have the level 40 medal.

Dont you need the hard fought level 50 quest for the ring, which is not available after level 49?

Granted, she often doesn't know what she's talking about.

I can't remember if the quest is unavailable after 49 or after 50, I think you're right xP

Just to be safe, I haven't logged on my cleric since she got rolled back ;P If I have to start, I might as well make a ring mule for my hermit but I sure will miss GT... I may not get to 50 by the deadline even with 2x ;P

Would a lvl 84 during the event get an adventurer ring if he leveled TO 115 this week (when the event is gone) when the event resumes again tommorrow?

I don't remember any kind of prequest that would help check for such a thing. Even if there was a prequest, there's a huge difference between a predetermined goal (level 50) and a flexible goal (having to level up 30 times from whatever level you were when you accepted the quest). So logically, no.

Basically, you have to restart if you leveled past 49 without getting the medal, past 39 without getting the purple overall, or past 29 without getting the adventurer weapon.

You kinda missed the level ranges...

If you're over 49 without the ring, over 39 without the medal, over 29 without the overall, over 19 without the adventurer weapon, over 9 without the explorer weapon, you're screwed, cause you can't start the quests anymore.

You meant the quests for those items, not the items themselves?

You would've had to have completed the quest. If you later drop the item, that should be okay, but you have to complete the quest.

No. You have the quest for the Ring at lvl 49, not the Ring itself, copy paste for the rest.

If you haven't completed the quests, and you've passed those level ranges.

Alright, you guys are confusing me....

So basically, I'm screwed because I have a level 50 character, and not a level 49 character, correct?

What a stupid....one level difference ooooooooo >_>

Kinda, but I was referring to Stereo's post.

Basically the quest for the ring no longer exists right now, and there is no record of it, so what the game is going to check for is whether you completed the medal quest or not (if you are 49 or under).

Then, if you are 49 and under and have completed the medal quest, you will be able to start the ring quest.

Likewise for all the others. You have to have recieved the item from the previous level range.

And yeah, 50 without ring is probably screwed. Sucks. =/

EDIT: In retrospect, I'm pretty grateful that my 48 mule has the medal. I distinctly recall waiting to get the medal until 46/47 because I was in the middle of a training session and didn't want to go back to Cassandra...

Well, I'll find out in around +10 hours if my level 50 Brawler will get the ring or not...

Dammit, Nexon, I want my rings!

Making a Dual Blader for the fun of it wouldn't be useless, now would it?

Just to confirm, people in this situation are able to immediately start the quest and finish it. Quite happy that I don't have to do it over again. Shine
