I'm playing OoT

How the f'uck do you defeat Dark Link? I remember using the hammer to beat the f'uck out of him, but now that's not even going to happen... Even with the hammer, the damn thing just keeps flipping and using its shield. I can't hit him no matter what I use. lmfao

I swear I've had this happen before. First few times I played the game (like when I was 11 or so) Dark Link wasn't a problem. Quick spins and hammering was all that was needed. But then I came back and played again a few years later and for some reason neither of those things worked and he kicked my ass. Odd...

The Temple teleportation songs are the best.

I've tried at least 10 times now and the damn thing is untouchable. I've tried not targeting him, I'ved tried hammering and using my sword... nothing can even land a blow, yet even if I use my shield, the f'ucker always lands a hit. I rage quit for now.

use the broken knife. stab him. he tries to jump onto the blade and misses.

or, how i did, was corner him. he mimics your movements right? move to where he will back himself into a wall, then strike. he tries to dodge and avoid but cant move to do so.

Yeah, I've tried corning him many times. All he does is shield and backflip, even if he can't actually go anywhere. He stays 100% godmode all of the time. :S

The water temple is much funnier if you do it without the blue tunic. Try not wearing the Iron Boots when you first talk to Princess Ruto for some lulz.

Ahaha, I gotta try that sometime.

Spam Din's Fire! He can't possibly dodge that.

This is such an awesome game - I wish I can play it again... :[

I remember playing A Link To The Past so many times when I was younger than I probably found almost all of the secrets without a guide. I'll probably find almost everything if I were to play it again. It's weird because it's one of those games where I'll refuse to look at a guide.

Oh man, I've been playing that over and over the past few weeks. I must have beaten it 20 times or so. I watched a speedrun of it and I'm trying to imitate the guy... I think I'm doing pretty well. For the record, fuck Moldorm.

I have this game for the N64, but it's broken. I've never beaten it and my friend hates me for it. Considering purchasing it on the Wii.

With patience and consoling, we can help you overcome that. The first step was admitting the problem.

Well... for a while, it WAS. Before Super Mario Galaxies came out Ocarina of Time was the only game to ever get a perfect game rating.

I've actually only beat one Zelda game... Phantom Hourglass. Yeah, I know, I suck. My favourite one I've actually gotten far in is Windwaker though, but I never ended up finishing that. I may start playing that 'cause it's right behind me and I'm in a Zelda mood. I can't get in to Twilight Princess atm though, reminds me a lot of Okami, which is good, but not really what I'm looking for. I'll complete a real Zelda game eventually. Oh also I got to after the ice place in Majora's mask but didn't save before getting the unlimited sword thing and then I rage quit that because the day reset and it didn't count as a completion of the temple.

Go Rom OoT, its a beautifully put together game.

If you do like it, i would suggest skipping to Wind Waker (if you can rom it, if not buy the gamecube disc and play it on the Wii)

B> Rom guide. With links too. Because I don't trust anything I've googled thus far.

Delicae - you realize that if anyone gives it to you that's a Warez infraction? Gonna have to rely on google.
