There's been a lot of talk and analysis, but I still don't know:
If I buy mastery books from the cash shop, can I save points between jobs? Namely 3rd -> 3rd+.
More specifically, will this guide still work?

kMS switched this around so much, they even had to give away full-SP-reset cards to their players.
The only thing we can do is wait and see how gMS will implement SP saving for Dual Blades...

I hope that they continue their reparations streak and make it so that we can save SP.

Yes, the points are able to be saved and used on later jobs.

There've been too many changes that we have no idea which system we're going to get in gMS. I'm just going to save SP on all jobs and let you know what happens. I'm hoping to hit 3rd+ in the 2nd day or so on my dual blader.

I'll be 70 before Friday on mine, so I'll find out either way. I was just curious.

Guys, I hit 120 today on my dual blader, and advanced to 4th. When I try to raise 4th job skills, I get an error saying "You don't have enough SP on previous jobs" or something like that. I think my character is bugged cause of messing with saving sp from one job to another and getting sp reseted three or four times. Good game, NexonKR. Now I'm a perma 3rd+ jobber...
So, guys, I wouldn't recommend saving SP from a lower job to a highger one, at least until I/we know what is wrong.

Can you just go back and spend those points? I'm still going to save up, and if it turns out I can't advance without using them, then I'll just use them. No big deal. Not tom ention that in KMS the system has been shifted around at least twice.

Because if you don't use them, you will end up with 17 too much SP to spend, which you can't spend at all, since all -available- skills are maxed...
How many SP's do you have left at lvl120? And is there ANY possibility to spend those SP's on ANY remaining skills (1st job ~ 3rd+ job)? :o
P.S. The error of "You don't have enough SP on previous jobs" also happens at PServers, when you haven't spend enough (read: all) pre-4th job SP's on pre-4th job skills. If Nexon didn't fix this for Dual Blade, this means that people who don't buy -any- Cash Shop Mastery-Books will -NEVER- be allowed to get to 4th job Dual Balde... Nice Nexon... Nice... :/

That's great news then for the those of us who have already prepared NX for this.

Let me just make this clear. Is this about having too FEW skillpoints or too MANY skillpoints? Because last time I checked, they don't let you job advance only when you haven't spent all the pre-4thjob SPs. If you purchase the CS 3rd job skillbooks and somehow wind up with 1 too many skillpoints, you just raped yourself, but if you don't purchase, you'll have even more points left over. Solution? Non-CS skillbooks.
Unless all that was just a bluff that I fantasized for my own amusement during the boredom period.

From 1st to 3rd+ job:
You get:
120-10 = 110 * 3 = 330 SP to spend
You can spend only 313 SP on all skills available (without using mastery books)
Ending up with 17 SP's at lvl120 you can not spend anywhere...
But maybe something else is happening, we'll have to wait for Rigumaro's reply on how many SP's he has left at lvl120, and if he used any Mastery Books yet...

I'm pretty sure that if you buy the CS books then you'll end up with 0 left over points by the time you're ready to do 4th (of course, I'm not sure how it'll work if each book puts a point into the skill just for using it...). I hope that the tornado spin book is easy to get; I wasn't planning on getting it at all, but I guess I need it to do 4th.

I hope that the tornado spin book is easy to get; I wasn't planning on getting it at all, but I guess I need it to do 4th. The 4 pre-4th job Mastery Books get you enough SP dumping possibilities to advance to 4th job:
- Storm skill: lvl5 > lvl 20 = 15 more SP's to dump
- Storm skill2: lvl 0 > lvl 10 = 10 more SP to dump
- Tornado skill: lvl 5 > lvl 20 = 15 more SP's to dump
- Flying Assaulter: lvl 5 > lvl 20 = 15 more SP's to dump
- Mirror Immaging: lvl 10 > lvl 30 = 20 more SP's to dump
Total NX-unlockable SP's: 15+10+15+15+20 = 75 SP's - And you only need to dump 17 SP's to advance...

Somewhat off-topic, but to Rigumaro : Is the 4th job Dual Blader advancement the same as other Adventurer classes? Like Secret Scroll and whatnot?

This information is too readily available to justify your hijacking of the thread. Even a google search of "dual blader third job" would've given you the answer.

Then I guess I'm wondering whether we can even max all the necessary skills (tornado spin is not necessary to me) before 4th job.
EDIT: Tornado spin is 1 skill, I don't know why you've listed it twice. The damage portion isn't a different skill that you add points into.

The Storm skill -are- 2 skills, with the 2nd skill requiring the player to max the 1st Cash Shop NX skill first before being allowed to put SP's in it.
Cheapest way to advance is buy the 1st Storm Skill book in the CS (everyone got free 5k Maple Points from Nexon America, and the book is less then 5k NX), so you have 15+10 = 25 more SP dump places for your SP's. This should allow you to advance to 4th job...

Anyways, I have looked for the information before asking. And just to entertain you, I did do your little Google Search, and I found nothing on the 1st page results. If it is so readily available, why didn't you answer my question?[/COLOR]
