potential system and pendants/adventurer rings

ive been reading a lot about the potential system and its totally clear to me how it works, except for 2 things;

is it possible gain potential stats on a pendant? in the list of possible effects every equip + possible effects are explained but there's no pendant effect to be found, are they just forgotten or is it not possible to scroll horntail pendants?

also ive wanted to know if items that dont have any slots when clean are excluded from the magnifying glasses stats, they say Mon are excluded but how about adventurer rings? they are the only rings without slots

I'm more surprised that they have a Chaos HT necklace, I haven't seen any videos/screenshots of a successful run yet.

The circle of ancient _______ rings also have no slots, I'm also wondering if potential will work on them.
