Failure Thread

So I've been wondering why we have all these threads for level ups, and the best of the best out there, yet no threads specifically for the lowest of the low that can encompass many things. Instead of having a new thread made every time someone has an "ohh, so close, but no" moment, why not isolate such incidents to a single thread?

One day, I just filled out enough surveys to get the Cash Shop Items that increases my 60% scroll to a 90% scroll. I just leveled up to level 64 to equip my new Staff, and I was like, all right, let's do this.

The goddamm 90% scroll failed. It FAILED!

How the hell is this possible?

I had 6 60% scrolls left. There weren't really any other decent staffs in the market. So I decided, oh what the heck, I'll just throw them on.

Win. There was a 4.6656% of 6 60% scrolls working, and a 0.46656% chance of the 60% failing and the 6 60%s working.

No you see, I don't think you got the purpose of this thread. It isn't for partial failures, or things where you get some sort of lucky redemption, just plain pure failures.

Lol, those Vega scrolls can be somewhat unappealing at times for sure. I was watching my friend scroll his clean SCG with 5 Vega 90%'s and he raged when they all failed.

I got to 20% three times today. In the same level.

Oh man, I woulda posted my boomed glove here if I'd seen this thread!

OT: Boomed a reverse glove. Lost roughly 80~100m.

I wished I screenshot'd all the 60% scrolls I managed to fail one day just trying to scroll...anything...

Tried to scroll the artifact glasses with a 60% accuracy scroll - it failed
Bought a 10 or 11 att wg and tried to use a 60% glove att scroll on the last hammered slot (twice) - both failed
Hammered one slot of my 16 dex yellow adventurer cape and used a 60% dex cape scroll - failure
Hammered my earring once and used a 100% dex earring scroll on it - it passed for obvious reasons ;P
I think I tried scrolling a few other random things with 60%s and they all failed...

Since then I never really tried to scroll anything and that happened months ago :v

Vegas worked like a charm for my brother. He was worried he would end up wasting his 40dollars on 2 hammers and 2 Vegas 90%. He ended up earning 30dollars with a wg 15attk.

Not a fail but id just share because ^ vegas 90% failed.

I think I ended up un-makering it, but I bought a perfect Hellslayer (102 atk, 5 above) and failed 6 60%s on it. So it was 104 atk 1 str :x

Was in a rage and didn't think of ssing it... 15* earring dex 30 in a row blew up 14 earrings all level 75+

I only screened one failure specifically, and it is most commonly seen:



Yeah, blast this infernal system, and that book was a Maple Hero 20, costing 200mil (Was quite a bit then, although nothing like present time's 500mil due to *ahem* cave-dwelling pedos).

But other failures:

Zakum Helmet scrolling, 3x times in a row:

1st slot: Fail-break.

Worst I had was 5 Zak hats in a row on 70% helmet dex. Went with friends to mass-scroll (70% helm dex 10m at the time, still pricey) and I blew up 4 helms in a row, but really needed some dex upgrade, so decided to 70% the 4th helm (I had one when I went in) despite principle of not risking helmlessness and yeah.. 5 boom in a row..

Also I failed 28 30% overall dex in a row on a mass scrolling.. you'd think after that a 4/4 would pup up eventually, but no dice...

I broke a +9 Z-Helm on the last slot with a 70%. I'll go find the pictures now

Boomed a 15/19/15/15 zhelm on its 2nd slot with a 30. Zrun that was held for me to rehalm my sader i DC'd in and needed to have Neal loot a helm for me for him to scroll(Best there was was a 15/16/15/15) when i went to trade him the scrolls he DC'd(prolly DC hacked) and hasnt been on since.

This makes me FEAR for TT30... They are like 200 mil EACH, and I'm as poor as a RAT.

200mil? in broa they are 500mil :o

i still remember blowing up 5 zhelm when i duoed zak to scroll 1 zhelm, ended up w/o any zhelm, and blew all zhelm on first slot with 70%...

i remember blowing up my 110atk 15str red katana like 2 years ago, it was my pride and joy untill lunchboxes came, with 109 atk clean lb i figured i could risk a 1% clean slate on my red katana.. boom =p
