I wouldn't say that was a completely fair vote, since the Council was sort of pressured into making a decision, but whatever. Less Salamence means the rise of not-scarf Flygon, Dragonite, regular Shaymin, Heatran, and water types in general. (Heatran/Grass/Water is a very strong core for a team)

They went over arguments like this a million times in the discussion thread. Salamence is just way more deadly than Dragonite. They didn't get to voting on it until recently because of all the other Pogeys they were testing (Latias, Garchomp, Manaphy, some other stuff) and the rather slow method of doing it before.

The whole council didn't even need to vote, there are 9 voters and the first 5 all voted uber. xD

Well that screws up my entire team.

Meh. I'll just wait for 5th generation. I don't feel like re-building my whole team just to have it shut down again when 5th gen comes out anyway.
