I wish dc hackers could shoot themselves in the brains. They're so useless as people.

I thought KMS managed too defeat it already....after big bang, killing pink bean doesn't sound as big of an achievement..

I can say from my own experience, Broa has/had some of the worst people to deal with when it comes to D/C hacks. From FM merchants that try to extort mesos to people who are just jealous they weren't invited. However, our last held run we made it all the way to PB with 22min remaining w/out any d/c problems because we kept it so secretive and made sure nobody talked about it to anyone. Not even in their own guilds. We only had a couple people who had trouble due to vista/win7 and the autobanning problem has yet to effect us. The only problem on our run was a mistake on the leaders part before the run even started that hindered us from being able to test our real experiment out during the last phase.
Even though we're now ready to retest it, we've lost alot of people who have quit/hacked/wrongly banned. PB is completely killable even with vista/win7 problems and D/C hacks still around. Just have to know how to handle each problem..

I'm glad to hear, but i call shenanigans if the whole auto ban problem magically dissapears WITHIN a month from now. Permitting gMS to kill PB.

As far as anyone knows, it's only a problem in Windia. There were PB attempts in other worlds before Windia's attempt where they were first auto banned at the beginning. Guess we don't know this time though until someone else tries it. Or maybe Windia again? :33

The last run was kept rather secretive too, I was surprised to find out about DC hack ransoms.

It's funny you pointed out that PB is killable with those problems, because, duh, why would they have tried had they already known of their failures? Sure there's this reason and that reason, but truth be told, it was possible in many regards. The real issue came down to only that malicious autoban, really.

*sigh* I have to say that I'm a little disappointed after seeing that video. The same old classes: Night Lords, Bishops, Dark Knights, Bowmasters, and Heroes. I was hoping the Big Bang would deviate from the cookie cutter bossing parties.

They just took whatever damage came their way?

This was the first complete run, though. I'm sure most of the people who were already geared up to attempt something like this would be the same classes that people were using to attempt Pink Bean before.

Frankly, I'm not surprised much. It's about time kMS defeated PB with their potential equips + the BB patch. IIRC, Broa got to PB with about 20 minutes left? I'm not really sure we would even need the BB patch to kill PB in gMS once we get potential equips. :/

You think they would "experiment" with new kind of parties for their try to kill itt the first time ever?. Once they get the catch on how to kill it, they may be bringing other jobs.

It may be +30 at max, but when you combo it with the "Multi-Pet" skill and have 3 of the same pet, it's a pretty hefty +90/90/90/90 to everyone.

Didn't they use the PYPQ +400% buff though or no? I know there was "supposedly" one server that used the PYPQ buff and got to PB with blazing speed, but didn't kill him due to the "Legit" concern or whatever.

Pretty sure there was a limit to only having one of that pet.

Was there? That's my bad then, I remember seeing the JMS video of them defeating PB and it easily looked like there were way more than 30 of said pet =/

Watch closely around 2:25ish or so, during the damage reflection. An I/L keeps testing PB with CL.

I'm pretty sure that's from the NL damage reflection skill...whatever it's called.

This isn't unusual, really. With the emergence of the % based scroll for weapon, their damage of level 150 character are as good as the strongest lvl 200 we have.

If pink bean is facing the right, it'd only cast various curse and 1/1 attack where as for left it'd cast seduce and genesis.

Have you ever tried going after the evan patch? That's when it started getting really bad for vista/win7 users. I don't think anyone had a problem with pink bean before that patch.

Anyways, I know that scania and broa are much worse off than other servers in terms of the dc hacker problem, but this really isn't something that Nexon should expect us to overcome on our own, same with the OS compatibility issues. In fact, all three of the problems I listed are totally Nexon's fault, given that dc hacks have been around for years, a lot of people have moved on from windows XP in the past few years, and the autobans really never should have happened in the first place, not sure what first caused those to happen. Honestly, over half of PB's difficulty comes from Nexon itself. By the way, I don't think you should try running until the autoban issues have been resolved so that nobody's account would be in jeopardy, or at least try to make sure nobody touches pink bean at all, since that's what triggered the autoban.
