I'm not saying Swerve and Greg are gay cowboys, or that they raped and killed a young girl in 1990, but if they aren't and didn't, why haven't they denied it?

Actually I was thinking about adding in a "-no homo" comment after Greg posted. But the fact is that I think Greg is awesome and I think we have similar thoughts on similar threads. Granted, just because I think Greg is awesome doesn't mean that everyone else has the same opinion. I just don't understand why I have to cheapen my compliment by adding a "-no homo" in order to please you guys. I meant what I stated and phrasing it as a joke would cheapen the personal respect I have for some of his comments and how he approaches certain situations. On the internet it is rare to see the better side of human emotions such as kindness, mutual respect, love, and comraderie. Thus it is easy to get them mixed and confused. Greg is a pretty awesome guy and I'll take the homosexual connotation in order to get that point across. This is not to say that I agree with all of Greg's decisions, it's just that we can relate. That's not something that is always easy to find on this forum board or in real life. Whatever little friends I have, I will take and express a mutual level of respect for the accomplishments they produce and concern for the problems they face. My friends are important to me and have more importance to me than the general community when push comes to shove. I don't simply want "forum buddies," I want people who I can mutually respect to be my friends. If you don't respect your friends and they don't respect you back, that's not real friendship. :<

Don't mistake my Funhaus post for an actual opinion. I also have a number of bromances. I respect and appreciate brolove in all its forms. And I see that your bromance is strong to resist my Funhausery.

Swerve already explained that the NPC's name is likely to be "Clever Child". He was probably just trying to make it more funhouse-ish by incorporating the name into his sentence, rather than just stating it outright. Notice that he bolded those two words.

Dickity-plantain-plantain.

Perhaps Koreans have a different, colloquial term that can also mean...yeah.

Condition 1. You're not my friend
Condition 2. You never earned my respect.
Segue: Believe it or not, I'm trying to be nice to you when there is no reason for me to maintain this behavior with you.

You should know that respect is something you should show to everyone, not only friends or people who you like, especially because I don't think I've ever disrespected you.

Also, even if you say you've been trying to be nice to me, it doesn't really look so.

This is where we have different beliefs. I believe that respect is something that is earned. The contributions you make in the form of guides, helpful advice, funny posts, and so forth all culminate into something that I can appreciate and show gratitude. I don't have the heart to show respect to everyone. I believe that if you show respect to everyone around you, you cheapen the meaning of respect. Respect isn't something that is simply handed to a bum on the street or someone who has done nothing but party and play games. That is pity. Respect is a feeling of admiration and adoration for another person that can't be given to other people. This is what I believe is respect. This is not to say that I can't be considerate, but in no way or form is having consideration for everyone synonymous with the term respect. "Respect should not be confused with tolerance, since tolerance doesn't necessarily imply any positive feeling..."

Also, I'm being unbelievably nice to you, considering the fact that I've tolerated all your antics since you joined without saying anything until recently. I don't have to be nice to you, but I will try to continue to the extent that I can and to the extent that you try to be civil in return.
