Im not sure this is for everyone but, if you log into the website and select start game you will be prompted with a new ToS.

Once you select "Okay" you will be required to basically reinstall maplestory.

I wonder if this is a Pseudo-Patch..... because my other 2 computers in the house can just use GameLauncher.exe and are online atm. My laptop for SOME reason cannot do this and must login from the website.

Basilers are saying JUST USE GAMELAUNCHER... but using gamelauncher wont force you to update, and wont fix the meso issue.

I tried logging on after i saw this thread and nothing happened. Got on fine, no prompts.

Didn't work for me either, but a friend asked me if I was updating so I guess you're not alone.

No updating here, just normal login from the start game>in, with no updating needed.

Were the people who were prompted for this previous violators? If so, it could be only people who were hellbanned or otherwise did something wrong that are getting prompted.

You can trigger a reinstall from the website if your HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Wizet\MapleStory (vista64) was deleted.

Your registry was probably somehow changed or deleted.
