This is why I hated leveling in 2nd-late 3rd job. Too many idiots claiming one god damn training area because it's too good.

I'm just not playing until the big update launches. The excitement will be so much better this way.

Level 19x-200 Archmage, upgrading using the potential system if it is released before the big bang update (can't wait to destroy my Estaves with potential scrolls). Basically, just playing as normal.

going back to the mob's wouldn't it be an easy although lazy fix just to match the mobs level for level in areas and just readjust stats that way then tweak it little by little till it feels right

I'm sure there will be other spots with similar HP:EXP ratios and a MUCH better spawn than just 4 at a time.

Just curious, if I were to make a pure INT gunner (or any class really) right now, and leach it levels all the way to the big bang patch, after receiving the free ap/sp reset (exists, right?), will that mean I will keep my very high mp, and be able to reset into my base stats/hp wash?

Unless I've missed something you only get free SP resets, not AP, meaning no.

They got 1 SP reset, and a quest that gives another. No AP resets.

This is what will happen. Like so many other times, they'll release a major patch that requires half to three-quarters of a day to copy & paste the data update the new data and test it, then let it go live without rechecking some gaping hole they missed. Which will, of course, be abused for up to a week before the next server check fixes it (+52 HTPs), or, in situations of total pandemonium, fixed by the end of the day with an emergency server check (Chaos duping).

Every character I've made over the past few days has gotten a SP Reset upon creation. All my old characters got one upon logging in. There was a 2nd one given away if you were online at like 2 pm July 10th KST.

No AP resets.

I just want to get to the potential system first so I can Uber all my equips.

I wonder if MoN's will be accepted with the potential scrolls... If so..

This is another balance patch, except on a more massive scale since almost every skill and the Maple world itself was changed.

Go read the Extractions forum, it spans three or four extracts and is really too big to describe beyond calling it a major overhaul to everything.

the Big Bang patch is a complete revamp of everything in Maplestory, monsters, exp, formulas, maps, bosses, drop rates and preety much everything.
