At the end of the first form, he does lower damage on the bottom 3 attacks of assassinate and the shadow partners damage does a lot more than that of the actual attack. This probably has something to do with how shadow partner works for large damage ranges. During the 400% damage buff from the pyramid glitch NLs were doing 199,999k on the shadow partner attacks and much lower on the actual TT attacks.

Yeah, already responded to that, but didn't know about the TT thing. It looks like something is causing SP to do 1.5x normal damage instead of 0.5x.

It's because the modifier also applies to the shadow partner modifier, which already mirrors the modified damage, so basically the effect of charging is squared on the shadow partner hits.

In that video, from ~8sec charged assassinate (i think thats max) he did 2.5x the regular damage.

He is hitting over 500k here, but MM's snipe only does 500k per hit. Are they changing the damage cap back and forth or is snipe just made to do 500k dmg instead of damage cap?

the cap is 999,999 and snipe is capped at 500k.

Well, pandora doesn't seem to show up in my ie/firefox cache. =/

It can appear in my temp folder as .tmp but due to the video breaking up, I can never get
a complete file...

Fiel Wrote:The reason why it was 30k is because it's close to 32767, which is the maximum value of a signed short (16 bits). Maplestory exclusively uses signed numbers, so for it to be greater than 32767, it would have to be a signed word (32-bits). Since it must be a signed int, that would make the theoretical maximum of 2.1 billion HP, but I bet the ceiling is much lower than that.

I thought the maximum for hex and decimals was always:

0000 - 0
000F - 15
00FF - 255
0FFF - 4095
FFFF - 65535 <- Isnt this the absolute maximum value for a variable working under 16 bits?

If Hp goes beyond 32767 which is "8000" in hex and decimals, it's probably working by using the full variable.

Well, that explains why FFIX's Ozma has 65535 HP. Oh, and that 255 was the maximum stat value or something.

Signed bits have a sign. You have 65535 values, 32767 over zero, 32767 under zero, and zero.

someone in Basil found a picture of Paladins new Blast :o

I see stacking charges! this might be good Smile Just waiting someone to post a vid of Paladin so can actually see how they work. I really like the change they made for Paladins overall but making Blast hitting 3 times is kinda, weird. Hope it will be good Smile

I noticed that there's a "New" Aufheben Circlet up there, with 400 accuracy.

That's kinda.. insane. :f6:

Actually you have 32768 under zero, since 0x8000 is -32768 signed.

Sorry for asking such a stupid question, but:

Is 1.2.326 the final KMST patch or is it the same patch as (the now) officially released 1.2.102?
Reply
Sup question.

For WKs, does charge blow not remove your charge anymore? The description doesn't mention it anymore.
Reply
i swear you asked that before, baklava (mmm), and it blows your charge out, yeah. advanced charge blow increases your charge blow damage, mastery, and of course, charge hold.

Does anyone know if Corsairs with their new 5 shot cannon + bullseye have HAX-like damage after the revamp?

I mean 300% + crit + Bullyeye 620% x 5 = Alot of damage, maybe too much especialy when they have a damage multiplier of 1.6%. :f6:
