Quick question on DrK skill builds
#1
Hey guys:

I kind of need help for my DrK skill build........

For the first 10 levels, I decided to go Zerk 20 (training/bossing) and beholder 10 (stabilize damage through increase in Mastery). However, I kind of need some help for the next 20 levels.

What I plan to do from 130-150 is:

- 131-140: Max Stance
- 141-150: Max Hex of the Beholder (mostly for the weapon att/accuracy boost), maybe dump the remaining 5 points into Rush or Zerk? (if I even get my hands on Zerk 30 and successfully pass it).

Any suggestions or recommendations would be helpful. Thanks for your help!

Well, your best bet would be to max zerk as soon as possible of course. Rush works at 1 sp, but at max it has fantastic range. Maybe take MW to 19 before stance, especially if you solo train more than you boss.

Well, make sure you have that 1 point in Rush, as Crow mentioned. After Zerk/Beholder, you should do Stance to 20/30, followed by MW. After that, you can do Hex. From then on it's max Rush I suppose.

25 points for +3 atk is not a good way to use your SP. MW/Rush are both better to do after Stance, I think.

I do have 1 point in Rush (and 1 point in Beholder), just forgot to mention that. xD

I agree

Hex is still only a set of nice to have buffs that change your gameplay in a very unnoticeable way.
Unless you are really hurting for 15 more acc (3 wattk isn't worth mentioning imo) there's no reason to get hex so early.

MW next if it will boost you into a 2hko range for whatever you are training on. Rush if mw will do nothing for you. The extra range really speeds up your training.

Saving 10 points for whenever you do get your hands on zerk30 isn't a bad idea either. Z30 is one of the best investments you can make even if you fail a few.

Do you mean 1 in aura or hex? As you said you have 10 beholder in the first post. Or maybe just a typo?

Oh, what I meant was that I currently have 1 point in the Beholder skill (the Mastery one, not its "enhancements", Aura and Hex). The 10 Beholder that I said was meant for the build I posted on my OP.

Ah ok
Yeah that should definitely be your first priority then, you sound like you know that but just reinforcing it.

Well...right now from reading all of the comments, it seems like going the MW/Rush route after 140 is the way to go......

Any other suggestions?

definitely put 1 point into rush first and max beholder. after that get berserk to 20/30 or whatever you can afford. stance is very helpful at bosses so if you plan to zak/bigfoot frequently you should probably max it after serk or put at least a few points into it. if you party regularly with people that have mw or solo you may or may not want to switch mw off with stance.

after that it pretty much becomes your personal preference so depending on if you need maxed rush for whatever you're doing or achilles for say taking a hit in serk at bigfoot, i would max either of those before you do hex unless you really need the 25 acc to hit whatever you train on. in the meantime you still have sniper pills and bless from priest/bishops to work with so acc shouldnt be much of an issue. aura is more of an added bonus kinda thing, so just worry about that last.

mostly just max what you need when you need it... but what do i know anyway x__X

Beholder>Zerk> Stance> (Mw if you need more damage/rush if you want faster training and if mw would not impact an extra hit or not)>mw/rush>Achilles>Both hexes. The end.
