50k bags have always been effective, haven't they? The game just DCs you after you drop a certain amount due to abuse.
I think ME damage is independent of mesos dropped, but we really have no idea. Give it a week and kMS will answer it for us.

No. dropping 50k bags has always been a little more effective than bags of 5k, or something along those lines.
I guess we will have to wait. I'm shocked to no end at how few videos we're getting from KMST these past few weeks. I remember when there were dozens in a matter of hours. Now, we're lucky to get 2 in one patch, and they all seem to be for the same classes. =/

Oh, I thought you meant raw damage. If you want the best biggest bang for your buck, wouldn't you need a way to equate damage and money? "5k mesos are worth 50k damage" or something.
Edit: Or you could take a set value, like 10 million mesos, and crunch some numbers to see which bag value maximizes DPS. Have fun with that one.

I thought meso guard was like 50% or something. MG is 80%. (Don't quote me, I actually don't know how much meso guard absorbs.)

I looked at a table a month or so ago, and using 50k bags for bombing is a DEFINITE nono, based on both what I saw on the chart and what my CB/Shadower big brothers told me.
And I don't get it. Crunch numbers into what exactly? Sorry, I've only been playing for a year as of yesterday, so all these calculations are pretty foreign to me.. I usually just take you guys' words on stuff.

Oh. Nevermind then. MG is like, 52% or w/e. 80% is insane. If you lag and die after reducing dmg by 80% you're doing it wrong.
Mages have no HP. Even though their HP only loses a fifth of other classes, a fifth of 10k is still more than they can handle in two hits.
If you check the Game Mechanics section, there's a thread with the ME Damage Formula. Put it into an Excel sheet, calculate the damage it does per burt, how many burst to use up the set number of money (in my example, 10 million), then divide the total damage done by the time.

i think meso guard is better, because for bosses like manon, who have skills that reduce both mp and hp to 1, magic guard does not work
meso guard on the other hand will still protect whatever % it's supposed to (my shad friend told me this)

50k bags is the only way to get most damage out of the time you spend. If you don't mind spending so much time, you can take the time to drop more bags. You'll get more damage out of the amount of mesos you use, but it will obviously take longer to kill things.

Mages don't have the same survivability as Heroes. Magic Guard is limited by Arch Mages' low HP. My level 185 Bishop has about 2.3k base HP, meaning it can tank 11.5k damage. I'm sure most Heroes have more HP at that level before HP washing. It's easy for a Hero to wash to 30k HP with HB. If an Arch Mage wants to tank 30k damage, they'd need 3750 HP without HB, which is pretty hard for them to obtain. Plus, Heroes have PG and Achilles, whereas Arch Mages have zero defensive skills.
I think Arch Mages should place slightly above Heroes in DPS. IMO both classes are very similar: no party buffs, but are great tanks and can deal high damage. Sure, Arch Mages train better but in terms of bossing they have a harder time surviving and are less useful. Heroes have Rush which is very useful at mobile bosses.
Anyways, from the looks of things, Evans are the next lolclass. Does Nexon really think that Magical Resistance is so useful that they didn't buff Evans AT ALL? -_-

So with the final change from kms removing the 10% crit rate is their any point in getting the ring now? Even thou gms might not know about it when they copy the kms data they will most likely get the ring changes.

This is true, but that all depends on localized versions being smart about the issue.
Anyway, I have my eye on the F/P class. I'm actually planning on making one after the updates, just to get a feel for the new system starting from 1st job and hopefully through 4th. I want them to be good bossers, too.

I posted F/P DPS as of 1.2.326 using my Lv. 200 range (when I had my good equips). Since you're the master of the 1v1 DPS charts, what do you think of the result?
