How hard is it to find DB skill books?

I'm sure many people are interested in, and besides the fact that hob king drops at least 3 of them, I don't know anything else about their drops. Would it be possible for a dual blader in 2nd job to find the appropriate skill books?

Nope, it's not. The only thing Dual Blade skill books drop from (Aslemn told me this) is from Dodo. Good luck hunting that with a level 30 Dual Blader.

Yea, if i'm not wrong, Slash Storm and Flying Assaulter drops from Dodo.
It's pretty idiotic to put level 120- skillbooks to drop from a fucking level 125 boss.

I've had FA and MI books drop from mobs other than dodo in KMST, so that clearly isn't the case for any version besides JMS.

Something I was wondering on:

If you "skip" the skill books for dual blade for the meantime (you only max it to lvl 10 instead of 20), can you still advance to the next job?

How does maple keep the SP's separated, so you can't add 2nd job SP's into 3rd or 4th job skills?

This is ridiculous. Hunting for 4th job books at 120+ is one thing, but forcing someone who's level 30 or 70 to hunt Lv. 90+ monsters for books is just idiotic. I don't get why they bother saying things like money isn't required - how dumb do they think we are?

Skipping skills because of lack of books won't harm you at all since you can always use SP on old jobs. As for saving SP, you can only use SP from job to job, which is why I'm maxing flash jump, then saving SP so I can max FA straight away.

You should know that bloody storm requires max slash storm. It's not impossible to train without bloody storm, but flying assaulter requires a book as well, and good luck training without that.

As far as I know, not only do the books drop from much higher-leveled monsters, the droprates are also devilishly low.

It's an EXAMPLE of a monster that drops it. JMS hasn't even gotten Dual bladers yet. We're talking about a monster that we're sure that drops it.

It was the only monster we heard that drops that skillbook. If you could say which monster dropped it to you, it would help a lot.
