Favorite Movie Scenes
#1
So earlier today I was bored, browsing Youtube, when I decided to rewatch favorite parts from some of my favorite movies. After feeling the mandatory nostalgia I couldn't help but realize how many great movies there are out there. So many great action scenes, great monologue, prologues, and just speeches in general. What are some of your favorites?

Here's one of mine. Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho, before murdering one of his first victims in the movie. Great movie, though not for everyone. Bateman is a monster – complete with an insatiable blood lust and lack of empathy for pretty much everyone, especially women.

The final moments of Clint Eastwoods character in Gran Torino.
The Opera scene aboard the luxury ship in Fifth Element.
the Neo -v- Agent Smith fight of the third Matrix movie (which was really the only good part in the entire two sequels to the matrix)
quite a few from Last Samurai.
the cake scene in Little Nicky.

Forgive me if I come across as a pretentious film hipster, but most of these are worth mentioning, even if being an already famous example. Will come up with more later.
-Breakfast scene(s) from Kramer vs Kramer
-The end of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
-The end of Gran Torino
-A certain scene from Pulp Fiction
-The silent sequence from Up
-The "Raindrops keep falling on my head" chase scene and the whole "sting" scene from The Sting
-The Bear Jew scene, the scene with the cream, and ending of Inglorious Basterds.
-The famous fight from The Karate Kid

It is, indeed, a great movie, Greg.

My favorite movie scene:

"Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?"

Still gets me every time. A million times it will get me. Best scene ever. I'm completely obsessed with the entire movie, though.
