New Formulas Simplified

What multipliers? I assumed he meant

On a skill like Hurricane (200%Wink, you would do between 220% of your min damage and 250% of your max damage on crits.

Range 7500~10000 would do 15000~20000 normal hits, 16500~25000 crits. I'm not sure how consistent that is with the current data, but I think it makes sense.

That is the current theory, but a Hermit video appears to display some rather sided results that don't seem to reach such minimums or maximums.

I thought he meant add 20% and 50% to the minimum and maximum in the range and then apply skill damage which would be multipliers.

Crits would be a LOT more useful than what is seen in videos in that case. Also, what do you mean by the Hermit's results "not reaching" such minimums/maximums. I'd figure that PDDamage and PDRate are being a peach here.

The Hermits results stay around +3x%. I think the highest critical the Hermit video showed was +37% damage or something; it just didn't show any evidence for the +40%~+50% range.

Don't know what video it is, but: Any skills that might be affecting this? Critical Mastery? Critical affecting or defense ignoring equipment? Shadow Partner?

Critical Throw should be bringing the minimum to 30%, but the maximum should still be 50% which was never approached. The video is earlier in this thread somewhere. These were all on the regular hit, not Shadow Partner.

Just wondering where the supposed 50% maximumCritRange was picked up.
Also, liking the new subforum. :3

Here, the character info box is show to have descriptions for the critical rate. It states that it has 120% minimum and 150% maximum critical damage, which items and skills can affect.

Since mirror image reflects the same value from damage range as the corresponding hit, is just simply based off damage range, and is unaffected by criticals like shadow partner is, it's possible to use this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jF-JeD4tHI8 and the following 6 parts of it to figure out how critical works. The problem is that the videos are tagged as being from kMST 1.2.318, so we'd need the percentages of the DB skills, especially mirror image, to figure those out.

No can do, cap'n. I don't save extractions from previous versions.

You can't see/revert each edit you made to the skill tables? O_o

Nopers. That information is not saved.

Maybe searching in other forums where this info has been posted?, maybe they have the .18 info around?

They all copied just the changes from me. I doubt they would have what you guys require.

Since pomegranate's changed since then, that information would be useless until we've first established that the mechanics still works in the same way, which in turn would make the old information still completely irrelevant.

Well umm... the kMST account I use has a Dual Blader on it. Want I should make you a video? I'll go do that.

Would be great =] Show damage range, mirror image/flying assaulter/bloody storm/tornado spin levels, and destroy some snails, like 5 mins without thorns, 5 mins with.

Oh right... Thorns. It's only level 9x or so, so I don't have that. Also, kMST isn't loading for me for some reason. It just gives me an additional popup after the one that asks me if I want to log on using the site or the launcher that just sends me to the site. And then I can't log in on the site for some reason. Dunno what's up. Sure am hating Korean though.

EDIT: Okay I made it. Here ya go.
