The new critical rates, what are they like now?
#1
Say if you had a skill that inflicts 300% damage onto a mob. Since every job has a passive critical, does this mean that the critical rates only increase by the number that is shown? Example: 300% + 50% = 350% critical damage.

Or is it like this: 300% + 50% = 450%? As in it adds 50% of the Skill damage rate as critical hits. :f6:

I asked KaidaTan to do some research on this for me but he never got around to it, I guess. It should be +20%~50% for when you don't have anything adding to crit min damage.

A 300% attack would do 320%~350%.

It's almost definitely additive, so 300% + 50% crit would be 350%.

I'm not sure, but according to other threads, I believe it was actually 360%-450%.

Not sure, though.

Sure hope so, because if Sharpeyes adds a small 30%, it'll put us BM's & MM's outta buisness.

You're talking like Sharp Eyes was BM/MM's only quality o_O

It's still one of the sweetest damage boosts (along with Bless, now), AND you can deal a ton of damage :O
Also it's good for bosses to have ranged people, it's a chaos when it's all melee jobs. Ever tried to Targar/Scar with melee only? D:

So ummm.... Does this mean Sharp eyes adds 30% more total damage after skills? Or just 30% of your non-skill damage range. :f6:
