[1.2.323] (2) Moar Skill Balancing
iAmFear Wrote:So after patching kMST, I found that you get not one, but 3 SP reset scrolls. And it resets all your skills to zero, it doesn't add 1 to all of them.

Whats the point in that?

Unless it counts for 1st, 2nd or 3rd job, and 4th job is pretty flexable. =/

3 chances to reset all of your SP across all jobs to 0? It doesn't sound too ridicluous, as there are a lot of new skills to toy around with.

O_O? but overall dmg, MMs has won ovr BMs.. like way way ovr

Hurricane = 200% per arrow.

XBow damage multiplier = 1.35
Bow damage multiplier = 1.15

1.35 * 170% = 229.5%
1.15 * 200% = 230%

Throw in stuff like xbows having a little higher ATT, less STR required to equip an xbow, greater benefit from with crits, big damage boost from SI/fast weapon, and Snipe, and you'll see that BMs have quite a bit of ground to cover.

Yeah, each one resets across all jobs, it's not just one for each job. It'd be silly for me to get 3 if that were the case, because the character I checked on was only second job.

Oh, but you get them immediately upon loging on to a character, and they expire in a week.

MMs also have 10% more mastery.

Who cares, everyone is pomegranate tier compared to Corsairs anyways.

Yeah, I'd like to verify that damage ranges haven't changed because we're simply ridiculous right now.

I find it odd that Corsairs have a 1.6x multipliers while Xbows have 1.35. Before Maple 2.0 I believe both classes had the same damage formula.

any one praying for one more revamp patch before official at kms?

btw, it would be interesting to do a flow chart of what happen to the various skill during the 318-323 version. you can see some skill revamp go up and down.
LOL

Dusk Wrote:Yes. This isn't exactly OP. I tried RF with my Crit ring. Still kills a lot slower than simply Torpedoing mobs. Plus it only works at 30% HP or less.

Not sure what you mean by this. Most mobs have very short KB times and ACB won't miss the second hit.

oh yeah, forgot about the stun, but anyways, flash fist hits so fast that when you hit the mob, the second hit comes in before the invulnerability frames (for the monster) end... you still hit damage but you dont get the knockback
you could try leveling a pirate to around level 21 and spam flash fist on ligators to see what i mean

Kabanaw Wrote:Gee Nexon, thanks for making bless 100% more useful than meditate. Why do clerics get a skill that gives more MA plus a crapton of other buffs too? They should make it so bless only has half its effect when clerics are soloing. Also, I'm fairly happy with the I/L AM changes so far, but I was hoping to see something for F/Ps.

Abysseon Wrote:Some examples for the i/l archmage class:

Changing big bang to hit 5 times with each cast.
Seemed to be a odd move since mages weren't known to hit a single target
multiple times like the other classes before. Also, the bishop and f/p archmage
class don't have any other skills that would support this change.

Jesus, comments like these make me think some people are just too self-centered when it comes to balancing.
Learn to see the whole picture.

First, EVERY MAGICIAN gets Big Bang, not only I/L's. This means that F/P and Bishop were on par with I/L then. It's nice to see outside your job.

However, Bishop's MAIN attacking skill would be Big Bang. I/L and F/P got MANY other training skills. Yes, Bishop's best training skill is also owned by Arch Mages. Yet you complain because the support class gets a better supporting skill? (and only slightly better for magicians) Which mind you, would also benefit you on party. On the contrary, in the scenario that it doesn't stack with Meditation, Arch Mages would complain about Bishop's Bless every time they used it, since it would lower their range.

Not only Arch Mages got Bishop's best training skill, but they also got Element Amplification. Which overpowers Bless for a lot.

omfg chains of hell got a great nerf from 12 hits to 10 hits...

a 560% dmg nerf

Dual Blades were madly overpowered, I don't mind them getting them down to earth to other jobs.
It's not like they're exactly weak with 10 hits...

Not weak, weaker though. :/

I was referring to the fact that big bang was changed to hit 5 times rather than being
a stronger one-hit skill.

However, I was complaining about bishop's getting a stronger meditation in a previous
post but your argument makes me think otherwise about the skill change.
