I know. I'm saying this as 100% confirmation.

Just that it now has a much greater weightage on Magic Accuracy compared to INT.

What Steve means is that without a good amount of LUK, a Magician of any class is f'ucked if they want to actually hit mobs. Our level 120 Battle Mage missed a crap ton on mobs 20 levels lower than it. Hell... My Crusader doesn't even have that kind of problem and Warriors used to be the ones with the biggest accuracy problems. lol

So, pretty much, all LUKless Magicians are f'ucked, unless Nexon resets all AP/SP.

Is that base luk or total luk? With the potential system wouldnt it be easy to get all the luck one needs while being "lukless"?

Why would you waste that though? Going for things that add both +%INT AND LUK is going to be hella costly. In the long run, if you don't want to go bankrupt, you'll probably just be better getting things scrolled for +%INT and adding AP into LUK.

You often don't have much of a choice, unless you have endless nx.

It really looks like the new "accuracy" formula does not rely on accuracy. It just seems like it relies 100% on your level. Take a look at this :

I have reset my DEX all the way down to 4, yet I still hit all monsters 100%, EXCEPT the ones higher leveled than me. Unless the avoidability formulas are really low now, the accuracy formula doesn't mean squat anymore. I don't have any big accuracy equips on me, yet I still hit 100%.

Where's your accuracy in there? Fourth or fifth from the bottom?

Fiel's "All Changed Mobs" post doesn't list monster avoid. I don't know if he missed it or if they just don't have avoid anymore.... Three variables, Mob and user level, and accuracy would make finding a hit formula much easier.

Can you minimize your accuracy - no dex gear, use a pole arm or something, et cetera - and report hit rate?

Also, lol @ chatlog.

Maybe the accuracy calculation only kicks in when the monster's level is higher than yours, meaning you can hit everything below your level regardless of accuracy. Iono, just speculation.

This is not true. Proven through missing monsters that were lower leveled than the character.

No, I don't think so. Wild Hunters, whose main stat is DEX, still miss on monsters even one level higher than them. If you're a lower level than a monster, you will always have a set chance of missing.

Yeah, I think he gets that. Its out leveling the monster doesn't require accuracy is what he's getting at.

I know I saw a Mage miss on Buffy's while being higher leveled than them on the infamous Big Bang SS. Iono if it's just mages, or that it was an early patch where the accuracy formula was still under works.

If accuracy really doesn't matter after you out level a monster, then after you hit 180, you're pretty much set. Which is great news, though I would rather see a system where you still need acc, but greatly reduced after you out level a monster.

That's pretty much what I showed in the picture, besides the polearm thing. The only accuracy I had from my gear was +~5, maybe. I'll try later without a sword/axe, but I'm 100% sure I'm going to get the same results.

The mage accuracy formula is based on LUK now, more than before. Once Takebacker reset the INT into LUK on the Battle Mage, it didn't miss anymore.

If I'm reading the image right, you still have 60 accuracy. That's enough to hit a lot of stuff....

117 accuracy, but on level 95 mobs, that wouldn't even come close to enough to hit 100% before. Like I said, I'll try later, but I HIGHLY DOUBT I won't get the same results.

I tried with a Durability Eclipse that dropped from a Homonculus (yeah, Dragon Rider PQ equips drop from regular mobs now), and I still hit things 100%.

Accuracy in the pic is 56.

Can you go lower than 56?
