I just did a tradein with full etc. inventory, meaning it cant give me heartstoppers even if it wanted to. Makes me wonder though, if you had max mesos, it would mean he cant give you 1.75 mill, meaning you'd get something else, right?

They're normally a +60 w/att pot that lasts for 1 minute.

I believe they give Speed and Avoid, too?

Heartstopper: Gives 60 w. att, 60 Speed, and 60 Avoid for 1 minute.


However(GG Nexon), the speed maxes at 40 just like normal. Still the only way to break the speed "barrier" is with a mount.


The original way to obtain them was when the Mansion first came out. Hoodoos/Voodoos(one of them) dropped them. The other one dropped red gummis which were used in various quests(and were also a potion to heal HP/MP).


They were an awesome potion. I used one for my 3rd job advancement fight just to kill it in about...3-4 hits. XD



EDIT: Wait wait wait, you mean the glitch that got everyone Maplemas Lights/Red Skis/Green Mittens last Christmas also works here? :O So, technically, you could fill up your use and etc and just keep plugging in till you got equips/mesos and then you could either get the Raven weapon that you're going for, some random, lower level'd one, or mesos. But then there's no chance for Taos...darn those choices, eh?

Im suggesting that, yes. However, I have no proof atm. Isaac mentioned he couldnt trade it in with a full setup so... I really dont know. However, Im positive my etc. inventory was full, yet I was still able to trade anyways. Theoretically, I dont think Nexon would think "what happens if the given user has maxed mesos and cant get more", so perhaps if you had maxed mesos in your inventory, you could be guaranteed not to get mesos (which is the main prize. Its nice, but not when you're trying to get a raven weapon or a tao). Just throwing that out there. I dont have maxed mesos so I cant test it but maybe someone can. Then again, this might be considered "glitch abuse" as well so... meh >_>

I can't possibly see how that's the case because I wasn't allowed to trade in when my only full inventory was my Setup. O_o If there is such a glitch it may only work with one type of badge.

Did trading in your badges empty a slot of your ETC? if so, then that might be why it still allowed it. Also, what type of badges?

I traded in 50 firebrands... and I had 54 of em so no slot opened up. Even so, in previous quests, if I traded something in that did empty up a slot, it'd still say inventory full until I had an extra slot free.

Iono if anyone has tried it before, but in previous quests that gave mesos, if you had max mesos, what would happen? Would it say your meso inventory is full or produce some kind of error? xD

Or maybe he won't let you trade if you have max mesos.

"Please make sure you have an empty slot in etc.,use, equip, and setup. Also, If your mesos are full, Drop 3.5mil to recieve your reward"

There's 2 of them in the data. One is the use item, the other is the etc one. I have a few dozen sitting on one of my crusader's mules just as a keepsake. XD


Isaac, the whole Maplemas Light glitch was Nexon's doing since O-Pongo was gMS only because it was in NLC and whatnot. I wouldn't be surprised if they just copied the format and changed the IDs, rates at what you get stuff, and so on.


Of course, maybe they fixed it this time around. But seriously, if they didn't and you could constantly do that...oh dang. :o


BTW, has anyone gotten any Setup item as of yet? :f6:

Iunno if Global would be different, but in Odin, if you loot/get mesos from an NPC/trade, the mesos get looted/the person looses them, but it doesn't increase your amount. :[
ie:
You have 5k less than the max mesos. You loot 10k. You get nothing, the bag is 'looted' still. :[

Yeah, but nightshadow badges are a pain... I'd rather see if this actually works first before trying it with other combinations. I already tried the full inventory thing with windraiders, and my setup was full just like IssacGS's. Retalion said that the full inventory thing works already with firebrand badges, which is why I'm going to test out if max mesos also works with it.

well then, it seems im gonna have to fill my etc up when exchanging then, i wish i could get max meso also to try and do the forced equip >_>

That's the thing though. Filling up your etc. inventory isnt necessarily a good thing as taos are etc items (I think... they are etc. right? D.

yea, but what about the chance at getting useless heartstoppers?
