So my Dual Blade will have the world's worst equips like my aran. I'll probably end up using 100%'d equips or clean ones.
1) Should I go DEXless? Are DEXless even plausible for DB's? I don't want to have like 120 base DEX, lol. If possible, I want to go DEXless til I can upgrade equips.
2) Are Adventurer's Ring very beneficial to DB's? I heard Thorns work funky, so does Crit/Cruel ring help a lot? If not, I'll just use Lillin's Ring.
3) Is it likely that you NEED NX for the skills? Like will there be an alternate method of obtaining the skills sold in CS? (Basically, can you obtain Evans' skills like Magic Guard outside of CS now?)

As for 3, AFAIK, you still can't get MG past 5 without NX.

If you're super funded, yes. However most people say you should go low-dex at the most if you don't want to be regular dex.
Critical ring makes DB's pretty godly.
In KMS they had the books in the CS, but they also dropped from monsters if you wanted to hunt for them. However Nexon might do what they did with Evan.

The CS skill packages for DBs was alot better than evans. You get like both a dagger and a blade, some nx equips, the skills, and some scrolls.

Not to mention the free Blade (and the Dagger too, I think) is much stronger than it should be for its level.
NexonKR made the DB skillbooks drop from monsters as well (just that they have a 50% chance of working. The CS ones have a 100% success rate)...though I don't know if NexonUS and Asiasoft will follow suit. They may just decide to make the darn things CS-exclusive for the profit. Darn money-grubbers.

I hope they drop from monsters in gMS too
Also can someone explain why a critical ring helps out DB's a lot? Do they have critical/built in critical attack skills? I heard Thorns work independently from critical ring. Or did I hear wrong?

You heard wrong. The critical chance that comes from all three of the rings stack with any critical skills or weapons that add critical.

This, it says it in the description on the rings "adds so and so % to your critical chance".

There's not much point going dexless since every blade above level 20 will require dex. You can use maple daggers, but you'll be stuck with a very weak blade unless you want to let your character sit there until the next anniversary for maple blades.
The critical ring is very beneficial once you get thorns, I'd recommend getting one now.
In kMS, you didn't need nx for the skills and could hunt them if you wanted. Confirmed drops include slash storm 20 from hob king pq, tornado spin 20 from hob king pq and blue wyverns, mirror image 30 from pap (speculated to also drop from a monster in oblivion 4/memories 1), flying assaulter 20 from griffey (speculated to also drop from skeles, memory monk trainees), thorns effect 30 from horntail, and sudden raid 30 from lyka.
Here are the prices if you're wondering:

Since dual blade was released before the anniv in KMS, im hoping GMS will release maple blades as part of an event, like with arans and maple karstans

Didn't Evans get the same kind of event?

Yea, maple staffs and such.
If they do come out with the even, im definetly going very low dex. Easy when you have high dex common equips :O

According to that it seems you need a total of about 36k nx to buy all of them........

You read that wayyyyyy wrong. Those are bundles. Some have different extras with the same skills.

Yes, I know that. If i had blindly added them all, thinking they were all different, the total would have been well over 60k NX. I only added together ones that contained different books (no overlapping) and that is the total I got.
What did you add the total up to be, if I am mistaken? o.o

Hopefully it won't cost THAT much to purchase all the skills in GMS... -.-
I mean, Evan's skill books only cost around 8k for all of them, i think

Some skills come with bundles, such as 3 of them or 4 of them in one package.
