Haven't we already learned that making animated stuff into live action never works? The idiot who came up with this idea should be killed.

Are you saying Transformers didn't work? Spiderman? Batman? Ironman.... *insert other superheros*

Spiderman, Batman and Ironman were all comics made into movies. Transformers is debatable depending on who you ask.

Well, we don't know who we see it....

although I hate how 99% of the people in there are white, not Asian.

The voice actors were white.

Weren't the characters in the cartoon show white to begin with? What's so bad about having white actors? o_O

People usually assume that when a character has some kind of asian attributes/style, that they're asian, even though theres no definite truth to what they are.
Then most get butthurt when it isn't asian, others just bothered.

I just care by the acting haha.

The casting crew took a pomegranate on Uncle. ;-;

I'll see it, if for nothing else than to properly bash it.

what people were saying was the fact that the tv show was asian-stylized and using asian actors would have made more sense to fit for the style of it all.The controversy is over the fact that the movie uses white actors because that's what the directors and investors think will sell the movie, rather than asian actors.

EDIT: actually it isn't asian stylized- it's ASIAN based (hence the i don't know.. the Chinese-esque characters?)

I don't really see why people care in the first place. I care more about the individual's actual acting. Couldn't give a rat's ass about whether they're white or asian or what have you.

Imagine Jackie Chan plays the role of Chuck Norris, everyone would be like wtp.
Same goes for this film, whites are taking over Asian characters, and I'm not happy with that, not gonna watch.

The first video goes into slow motion too much for my liking. Hope there isn't too much of that in the actual movie...

My feelings : Seeing Mister Shaymalan doesn't exactly inspire confidence about the quality of this movie. Praying that it might be a real decent movie.

My sister said her friend read on a reliable website, internet movie database or something, that Firebenders cannot create fire. They need some to start.

If this is true, it's bullpomegranate.
If it's not, yey.

That second trailer video thing does not bolster my hope for an accurate portrayal.

Ugh, I was looking at some reviews, and they really all stunk...

Shame. My friends and I were looking forward to a good movie.
