Meaning the critical damage cannot ever be lower than the critical chance? The critical chance gets added to critical damage, so if it says +10% damage, it's crit%+10 = critical damage.

I think you're reading too much into it. I'm understanding that to mean "All jobs receive a base critical chance to deal critical damage," which is in fact true.

Wow they get more MP/level too. I am not sure how they will calculate MP into kMS, unless they simply add a flat value based on level to everyone and change the MP/level of course.
Now I got something to work on: Level 47 HP: 3990 Level 30 HP: 2599 Difference: 1391 1391/17 = ~82 HP gained per level But wait, 65 HP/level x 1.2 = 78 HP/level, implying the innate HP gained per level up without the +40 HP ability is ~65 HP/level, meaning we DO get the +HP ability from 1st job baked into our base HP/level. Does this possibly spell the end of HP washing?

Look at the damage range
STR = 210 DEX = 46 WATK = 90 Using 1H Sword MaxDmg = (STR * 4.0 + DEX) * WATK / 100 MaxDmg = (210 * 4.0 + 46) * 90 / 100 MaxDmg = 797 Looks like the max damage calculation still holds. The minimum doesn't. MinDmg = (STR * 4.0 * 0.9 * Mastery + DEX) * WATK / 100 MinDmg = (210 * 4.0 * 0.9 * 50% + 46) * 90 / 100 MinDmg = 381
