In that wild hunter video, what is that second stat that changes from 5% to 50% when he gets on the jaguar thing?

i think there's a nid for more clarification on Critical Hits % and the additional Critical Dmg%.

For Example, for all based class there's a Critical Hits%, and we are currently estimating that the critical dmg dealt on mob is 50-100%. And that is w/o S.E. when S.E comes into play. Does it stack up the Critical hits%? or it doesn't? and does it stack up the critical dmg +10% (meaning the estimate value +10% additional dmg cric from SE)?

That's his Critical Rate. Every class seems to have a 5% base critical. Jaguar was upgraded so that it gives you +45% Critical when you're mounted on it (gg Bow Masters).

Examining the Wild Hunter video the highest Hurricane (Wild Shot, whatever) crits I see are ~3400, while the lowest are ~2100. The highest noncrits are about ~2200 and the lowest are ~1500.

That puts base crit at around +50%.

The damage range is 2342-3548, which is 1686-2554 with level 1 wild shot. The lowest critical I saw was 2146, highest was 3465. Looking at the max, critical wild shots do at least 98% damage range, up from 72% base.

Leveling is such a freaking breeze now. Tespia's rates right now are 1x EXP and when I hit 25, 25 - 39 took about an hour and a half to two hours. Kerning Clean Up was a level and a half every 9 minutes and then I leveled from 30 - 39 WAY before I could even finish three quarters of the Mushroom Castle quests... It's ridiculous now. I'm expecting that to be nerfed. lol

They aren't gonna nerf the EXP. That's why they raised the monsters HP and boosted/nerfed skills.

Well, the way it is right now, grinding still sucks, but it's still a mega shi't ton faster than before. Doing quests will you from point A to point Z fast as f'uck.

Getting to 200 will be easy as pie in comparison to what we had to go through? I approve.

But seriously, is the leveling speed based on monsters alone, or quests, or both?

I'm assuming quests will be nerfed down a bit, but still be much better than they used to be.

Quests give tons of exp in KMST right now. They will probably be nerfed to give less exp. But they will still be better than they used to be because of the exp curve change.

So I finally job advanced.
The new attacking skill is so dull.

I also found out a new feature in the map. If you hover over a dot in the map, it shows what monsters are contained in the map and their level

That feature is pretty neat. It'll sure help out beginners to the game, and probably, well, all of us because all the maps were redone.

Edit: Hm. That's a valid point though, if criticals are still additive, then it might be no more than +30% or so.
