I/L Mage

I looked at the guide and even though it has some updated stuff I just don't know. Where would be a good place for a level 7x I/L Mage to train? Right now I've been at MP3's. I know what to do from 8x~12x, but its the stupid 7x levels I am unsure about. This is coming from a level 200.... Go figure f3.

Your stuck in mp3 till 75 if you want the best exp.

My old school training path:

71-75: Cellions (trained on 4x for a weekend, there was no where better)
76-79: Death Teddies
79-80: Wolf Spiders
81-85: Pirates
86-93: Bains

When I was still active, 71-75 were helllllllllllllll. I grinded it out in ludi tower then went to the pirate map. Apparently mp3 was way better, so I guess there. Once you hit 75, go to wolf spiders if they're still good.

Red Kents should be a better option iirc, assuming 16 Ice Stike and Elewand at level 75.

i found Harps to be great exp in the eairly 7X, and great money was made from the drops, (when steeleys were worth a bit more) but from mp3 layout, it looks to be good, maybe better? i found wolf spiders to be a little slower due to their high damage from bump making me not want to risk it as much and with the Harp map u could just stand there n not move like at all

Since I/L was my first character in maplestory, I really spent....I really spent my training on retz till level 85.....


Then I started killing kru's until I got to level 90, and just got tired of playing.

Then once leafre came out, I started killing the black wyverns, as they were the biggest jump in EXP I have ever encountered before.

I would reccomend to train on Kru's once your Ice Strike gets enough range to hit the kru's on the top left platform of their map, well, there is probably better training spots now but...yeah.... that's where I train all my characters, not sure if there's a better place.

On my i/l mage I was at MP 3 till level 75 or so, then went to red kents, then after level 100 I was still at red kents, but also trained at himes and red wyverns till level 120. And I went to newties and skeles with buddies. But yeah I loved red kents the most for training after 75. A little note, I was using e-wand 3 since level 76 or so. If you don't have one yet, I'd suggest saving up for e-wand 3. It helps so much on the way to 4th job.
