Why does that have anything to do with NLC? All of masteria has reused graphics from other places and nobody says a thing about those. Why does this have to mean anything?

What are you talking about?
I'm supporting Isaac's statement that says NLC and Amoria are on the same continent because you can pretty much SEE NLC in the backround of Amoria. If you can name another place where you can see a whole other city in the backround of a completely different one, I'd love to know where.
It's also pretty interesting because Amoria was released like, a year before NLC was released. It just shows how long they had it planned.

It means something.

You're forgetting that codys dream town was hinted at since BETA and it was confirmed as a new area in masteria. Masteria has been worked on since before this game came out...

Cody's dream was a theme park, which we still haven't gotten. Masteria is no theme park. We've gotten sprites that would fit in to a theme/amusement park-ish area, but none were ever implemented into the game. I seriously doubt Masteria was in the works before this game was released.

Well, either way, they had an exclusive area planned.

What does it being a theme park have anything to do with what i said? His dream was something not seen in any version thus far, meaning it's exclusive. Chances are if they're going to release something exclusive at this point, it's going to be in masteria.

With the eiffel tower, big ben, statue of liberty, and other monuments i'd be very surprised if NLC wasn't a theme park. Hurt

By the way, has anyone exactly figured out why Return to Town Scrolls hadn't been working in New Leaf City before? NXProse claimed "a sharped-eyed sleth could figure it out", but I haven't heard anything close to a clue of why, and all of sudden, they do now, so there must have been something that had been occuring that had disallowed the use of Return to Town Scrolls.
I haven't figured this out yet either. I still have a lot of text to go over but I didn't see anything that has prevented us from using scrolls.
If anyone's got any insight as to why this might be then I'm all ears.

Well, I'm talking strictly data. All maps created in MapleGlobal are on continent 6. Continent 6 currently consists of Amoria, Amoria PQ, New Leaf City, the Mansion, Crimsonwood, and the Shalom Temple for Hanukkah. Now, when you have something like a return scroll that moves you from town to town, they're by default restricted to the data continent they are found on. Basically, by setting it so that you could use return scrolls in the Masteria maps, they (probably) accidentally set it for Amoria as well. There's ways for maps that are on the same continent to be excluded from return scroll use (For example, Using an Omega warp capsule in KFT, but not at Aqua.) so that might be set in the future.

I would really like it if they left it as it is, though, or added a Thomas Swift to NLC. This isn't a huge time saver for us but it's still nice.
