Patapon 3 is officially coming to Sony's handheld. The game was announced for a release this Fall and will include several new features.

The game introduces a brand new character with new skills that supposedly gives a real epic feel to the experience. Multiplayer co-op makes a return in addition to a competitive mode with up to 8 players able to hook up together. There's also a chat feature that will allow players to text each other in-game.

iAs rumoured, Patapon 3 has been announced and if you like rhythm, seems to have been announced just for you!The new PSP Patapon game carries on with the same rhythm-based 2D action game with a new warrior, a Superhero Patapon, to head into musical battle, devastating opponents with deadly, rhythmic attacks. Up to eight players can go on multiplayer co-op Quests with friends or play in up to 4v4 battles with network play.Patapon 3 continues where Patapon 2 left off, crossing the recently constructed bridge finding a mysterious box in their path. They combine their powers and successfully break open the box to release the seven evil spirits and all except Hatapon are turned to stone. He escape and finds a silver Hoshipon in the box, giving him a new power: Superhero Patapon.The new Superhero Patapon is customizable, has special attacks and your rhythmic army has a vast selection of soldier types. Your Superhero Patapon can also level up or evolve into other Patapon forms.With a new "Pata-Text" chat system, and the work of graphic artist Rolito, Sony is ready to take on the rhythmic world.

So now instead of an army the game is based on the legendary patapon heroes? also the game looks very dark based, wich is a good thing, also I can see that they level up and stuff
Also, is the guy wearing what appears to be alance actually stabing the dragon?

This looks like Multiplayer tho since in one of the pics you see multiple hero circles on top. and in the short time we had to see it in the preview of games coming out before december you see some sort of map on top of the screen.
Edit: after watching the patapon 2 ending which i havent finished yet i think this game involves using 4 heros or something like that.

on the psp. theres alot of jap i dont understand but i just clicked my way through.
Demo has infrastructure. I'm playing with other people and theyre from jap and theres little to no lag this game is going to be great.
