Maybe once every week I find myself digging through a huge pile of songs, looking for ones that I like. There are so many arrangements of Touhou songs that I'd never get through listening to every song.
There are quite a few Southperricans I've noticed like Touhou. Not sure if you guys also dig through a massive pile of songs like I do, looking for stuff you like, but if you do then just post your favorite finds in here. There are enough songs for this to merit its own thread, but it's mostly based on the possibility that there are enough people on SP with a large enough collection to keep such a thread alive.
In any case, I'll just get onto the point and post some arrangements I enjoy.
Soothing beginning. I usually don't like when songs start off one way, then deceive you by completely switching up on, but I didn't mind for this song.
Very upbeat/ I usually don't like male vocals with Touhou songs (most of them don't tend to mix well, but I may just be finding the wrong songs), but this song worked well with it. Then again, it was coupled with female vocals.
Someone stitched together a bunch of different arrangements that work out pretty nicely together. I liked every single song that was in this video. Could post them individually, but they work really well together.
I'm not particularly into one genre of music, so my choices can be pretty distant from each other. Good if you're into orchestrated pieces.
I have a couple more favorites, but I'm a bit lazy to search 'em up on YT. I have a bunch of Touhou albums on my Zune, but it's too much of a hassle to look that up as well.
Also, New Year of the Fourth Lunar would definitely have to be my overall favorite.
Very peaceful piano arrangement if Cirno's theme. I really like piano music, and I like when people make some pretty unique arranges like this with the piano, rather than just playing the original song unaltered on piano.
Nice (mostly piano) mix of Nue, Flandre, and Koishi's themes. It starts off pretty slow, but it really picks up and gets great at around the 1:30 part.
[spoiler=Posted these two in the "listening to" thead, may as well put them here as well since they're both pretty nice piano tracks]

I usually dig the music in those Touhou games like: SWR (Scarlet Weather Rhapsody) and UNL (Unthinkable Natural Law)
Also I like the Orchestral versions like this one.
Oh yes, orchestrated pieces are always nice on the ears. The last one I posted in the first post is a long video of orchestrated arrangements that someone put together.
Speaking of SWR tracks, this one is very nice:

Are these supposed to be Touhou songs? I don't hear any Touhou songs in them, but then again I've heard arrangements that mix things up so much that they sound almost nothing like the original unless you listen carefully to the chorus or something. I can't even detect the slightest hint of Touhou in there though.

Ah okay, it's a fangame. I just looked it up, I actually have this game downloaded but I've yet to play it yet. I guess it uses original music rather than re-arranged pieces. It does seem to have some nice tracks though, I'll play it sometime today and see what I get from it. Not sure if it's necessarily supposed to be a Touhou fangame or just an original danmaku that got labeled as Touhou along the lines though, since it doesn't use any of the Touhou characters (from what I see, but they may somewhere along the lines, like as an extra boss or something).

yeah, it's all original music, but it's by Saitama. Which is pure awesomez. I have it downloaded too, I just haven't played it yet.. for some reason. Feels bad.
Edit ; Not sure if they're going to make eXceed 4th, but there's 3 so far. :| The 3rd one has the best music, imo. Also, yeah, I only notice '1' character, but that's about it. That would be the girl on the soundtrack cover, meh. I'll probably play it during the weekends and see how it is, but I'm going to assume it's all in Japanese. But since it's just a Touhou game, shouldn't be too hard to learn. if you do manage to play before I do, tell me how it is.
Oh wow, how did I miss this thread? I don't usually listen to the various remixes (mostly because there's so many, and I already like the normal ones anyway), so all mine are the originals by ZUN. I think I have the soundtracks to Perfect Cherry Blossom, Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil, Imperishable Night, Mountain of Faith, Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, and Hisoutensoku currently in my collection. Here are some of my favorites.
Oh umm... I found this collection of what sound like Touhou remixes on a niconico video, but I have no idea what the songs are. Can anyone help me? File is here. I really like the first two, but the whole thing is pretty good.
Touhou music seems to be relevant to my genres but I've never heard any really good ones to get into it. Not sure if this qualifies as "Touhou music" since I'm not real familiar with them.
I tend to like the originals more, I felt the version of candid friend you posted was lacking something ):
The only remixes I like that I can think of at the moment are...

...and I can't find the other two . They were a Locked Girl remix and China's stage remix.
And one of the less popular tracks from IOSYS. I tend to like their non-vocal stuff a lot, but not so much the vocal songs that the circle is popular for. Stuff like this is pretty nice, but get burried under the Touhou songs packed to the brim with memes and such.
永遠に幼き紅い月 / The Eternally Young Scarlet Moon / septette for the dead princess 色は匂へど散りぬるを / Colours exude their scent to someday scatter and tint / Border of life
I listen to strictly vocals for arranges. For instrumental, I just listen to ZUN's originals. Althought dBu music and SOUND OCTA makes some decent instrumental arranges too.
Also, does anyone know any vocal arranges of Flowering Night? The one by Swing Holic was a good jazz hit but I can't find any that are fast-pace pop-ish/techno-ish/rock
Here's a long one

Tokyo Active NEETs has some really cool stuff. Their newest album is a jazz based one, one of the best Touhou Jazz albums I've heard. I like every single track in it.
Here's a demo of the album, it just has a few minutes from each song pieced together really nicely. If you wanna hear the full songs, I'd be glad to give them to you.

That fiddle in the begining was a nice touch. I don't think there are many of those aside from ZUN+Akiyama combos:
I haven't really found anything interesting past Phantasmagoria of Flower View. Maybe it's just me but it seems like ZUN's earlier works sounds ⑨000 times better than it does now.
Posted this in a Funhouse thread and felt it'd go to waste dying in there:

TAM has some pretty nice songs, if you like violin and piano stuff.
Hey guys, forgot all about this thread. I'll just post a nice mix of stuff.
Some miscellaneous rap

Some phresh hippity-hop beats for the soul. Saw it on a Touhou rap thread on /jp/ a while ago. I didn't find it anything that great, but it's certainly interesting. An interesting mix of Flowering Night and German rap.

While I'm on the topic of rap, this is the song that people generally think of when they think of Touhou rap.
Stuff from two albums from C78 by WAVE, a circle that hasn't been producing new stuff in a while. The two albums these are from are purely orchestral, and were probably some of my favorites from C78.
From my favorite album in C78, tied with the Tokyo Active NEETs album. I really like how ARATO plays with the themes in really interesting arrangements with the music. Chill, groovy, and entrancing. Some pretty nice music to take it easy to. Rhythmique's stuff a little before this to this has tended to dabble with a bit of English, but these albums have been purely instrumental. Pretty nice stuff. One of the best Touhou jazz albums I've heard, alongside that Tokyo Active NEETs one that Spidey mentioned.

I wish WAVE would make more choir/latin stuff like their Border of Life arrangement. It was a very unique arrangement.
A relatively new circle, Thousand Stories, released a new album a month ago featuring some pretty decent themes of Marisa. Nice vocals but they still have a ways to go.
Dance of Witches (about time someone arranged this)
