EDIT: I'm also confused about the "Bullet Damage" portion of Elemental Amplification and how it differs from the other damage increase.

I too would like to know the answer to this question, as it would be helpful to know as i begin to reach 4th job levels. I would also like to get a head start on this hunting since SE is expensive >.>

Maple Tip says a 70% chance here, but from what I've seen, they work 30% of the time.

Remember that as the skill level increases, so does its durability. This makes it harder to "break" and thus the penalty is more severe

Also note that Battleship is spammable. What I mean is that you can cast battleship, destroy a mob, dismount, find a new mob, and remount. The only time you cannot spam is when it is destroyed and you are within the cooldown time

The million dollar question, how much damage can Battle Ship take at each level?

The thing is, the increase in durability is supposedly not worth the increase in cooldown (according to a level 187 Captain). It's best to leave Battleship at level 1 for a long time.

For the durability increase to be worth it, level 10 Battle Ship would have to have over four times that of level 1. D:

Holy shield blocks status afflictions like darkness and seal. Getting dispelled is not such a thing, it won't be blocked.

Finally i have found the 4th job skill table =3, I was debating on getting lvl 2 blizz, now that i found the table again am sure of it. Google is your friend ^_^
