Will you at least stay as mod here? I hate to see you go, sure I've been here a VERY short time and I'm sure almost NO ONE knows me. But reading everyones posting and yours makes me laugh and it's fun to be here and be around everyone.

That makes it sound like his authority is the only thing of value he has.

All of his knowledge, expertise, personality and wit are still there whether he hangs around as an admin or a normal user. All that really matters is if he will "stay" at all, not the exact capacity cause the only way we "lose" him is if he leaves and never looks back.

this is why. (Sorry to use you as an example MeteorSummoner) how many people are like her and come to SP just because/for the extractions? that you can go anywhere else for the discussions about MS is why we need the extractions, because whether or not theyre a better discussion to be had, theres other places to get opinions from than this forum. SP, to the best of my knowledge, offers the more in-depth analysis of patch data and information about changes in the game from said extractions. its what drew and continues to draw people into the site. whether or not they join and stick around for the rest of the forum isnt whats important, its that SP can draw in an audience and continues to do so is what makes them the main draw to the site, and its very core.

This is exactly right, I know that myself and a lot of other people I talk to really only look here for the extractions and slightly-more-intelligent-than-Basil discussion about what's in the new patches. I rarely ever post here, or anywhere else for that matter because other people have already covered most of what I'd want to ask or look for. I mean, if I want wild speculation and stupidity I'll go to Basil instead. Sure, the other sections are nice but you can find a spam forum anywhere, and bug reports are posted on most forums related to MS so long as someone notices them. But, this site is synonymous with extractions now, and to change that without changing the name and everything else would be terrible in terms of traffic and ad revenue. :|
